In this video you see the Fendt 942 ONE from arable farm Van den Borne Aardappelen - mulching corn stalks with a Celli mulcher, subsoiling, spading and seeding wheat variable rate all in one pass with a Imants 38FSX with 6 meter working width and Lemken drill.

what yields do they get with a seedbed like that? or is the machine new to them this year?
replaces 2 jobs in processing and sowing with one job. very good. maybe 1050 would be better suited to such a complex in terms of fuel consumption? soon there will be stubble cuts on the headers after corn, such a header has already appeared in Klaas, perhaps other manufacturers will start using such a header. Thank you for the video
1050 still does not have a front pto

@@pauliwaarden5767 I think it does have a front PTO only the American versions don't and still even there it's an option
I believe that many manufacturers make chopping corn heads already, I know Deere and gerringhoff do for sure.
@@Beyonder8335 for silage cutting heads on the forage choppers they do not yet due to weight and power usage

First flail into the corner then backup with the seeder over the edge of the field lower the Spader and start moving just after that lover the seeder most of our field are not fenced of so we coul do this otherwise ther would be a little spot with less yield or no plant at alll

Very impressive agrar equipment! In germany it would never be allowed to drive in public trafic with the front device which takes lot of percentage of frontview..and without lights, bumpers and and and.
You can fold it, also it has lights and bumpers in that position and YES it would be allowed in Germany last year Celli sold 419 mulchers in Germany for the front PTO

any disadvantage to doing it in one pass like this? I just wonder why we dont see everyone doing it.
Cost of machines, large turning radius so not for small blocks, high power tractors needed, in rocky ground not possible to spade. Thats what I can come up with. Though not a farmer
@@0pvo0 As a farmer, yes, you are right on all counts. The only real downside is that if you have a very small field, say even smaller than the one shown in the video, turning is a huge pain. The one in the video should be about 1-1.5 (2,4-3,7 acres) hectares, if I'm estimating correctly, but the good thing is that the field is as wide as it is long. If it's very narrow, let's say 30 meters (100 ft) which we have a few around then there is literally no room to turn properly. Lots of back and forth and possibly use of neighbours land if they don't mind.
You get a very heavy combination that makes soil compaction in the deeper layers a risk.
@@tzandsch not at all, the combination is mostly shared by the wheels of said combination, also when when the combo is in the ground working there’s no compaction by anything but the tractor. Compaction is never ever an argument against trying to make as few passes working the field as possible.
