    • The crazy part is the media don’t mention that part even the CEO of the Trump organization how the guy who run your company go to jail with the guy who owned the company. Don’t the same shit but at the same time y’all tell us, Donald Trump is in control of everything that goes on around him. He knows everything from top to bottom that’s what us but when he’s been charged with criminal, he don’t know what’s going on. It wasn’t him. He didn’t have anything to do with that bullshit in the media don’t say that and I asked myself why🤷🏽

  • I pled guilty twice in my life to things I didn’t do because the consequences if I was convicted, we’re much graver than the plea bargain. I have a job that requires me to maintain a security clearance. If I took the charge to trial, If I would’ve lost my job and the security clearance, but the plea bargain allowed me to navigate around the conviction with the dismissal and expungement, there are plenty of people that are smart enough to know if you don’t have the money to hire outside council to the tune of thousands of dollars per visit to the court room there’s no such thing as an adequate defense. People without money know the legal system is only there for people with money. Trump’s got that covered at least unlike the rest of us. Poor bastards have to play guilty to things we didn’t do so with that shit that innocent people don’t play guilty!

  • When I was a juror in a criminal case we all took notes from the very beginning. We retained everything. If you've never been on a jury, the reality is very different from thinking about it. The weight of having another person's fate in your hands sits heavy when it's a reality.

    • Just being a political party doesn't disqualify you if you can truly agree to be impartial (as it is your civic duty if you take the upholding of our country's way of life as important) - and truly appreciate the responsibility that is on the jury. Once the juries can't be trusted then the whole system breaks, because despite your political party, that corrupted system will eventually be turned on you. Authoritarians always have to have a target, so after they purge the liberals and the not sufficiently white people they will look for another group to single out. Excluding all Republicans would be like saying no-one of a different race could be impartial in a hate crime case. The bad thing is that there are a lot of people who lack the critical thinking skills to understand why it's important. We've got people who are legitimately divorced from reality, shooting up with horse dewormer while they are dying of a virus. Thinking somehow that Putin is an ally just because Moscow Marge and Fox News told them it was true, despite being old enough to live through the Cold War and duck and cover drills.
