  • Momen vs Ibrahim... of the countless thousands of matches I've watched in my life, I don't think I've ever seen such mesmerizing exhibition of precision, speed, endurance as they demonstrated in the 5th. Jaw-dropping stuff, that made all the other matches look slow-paced by comparison, though they certainly were not!

    • Yeah match of the year candidate. Hope to see both of them put on a similar show against the likes of Farag/Asal

    • Unfortunately against Asal it'd just be a mess of collisions.

  • I don't know the stats but feels like Momen has won a ridiculous amount of these brutal 5 game matches. Guy is mentally/physically tough beyond belief.

  • when comparing momen & ibrahim's match to asal's match, i clearly what the problem is for asal. both players(momen and ibrahim) are trying to step away to make the path for the oponent during the game. But if asal is on that match??? maybe too many blockings will stop the game and make us feel bad. Asal should see this game and try to change his step on the game. What a great game for momen and ibrahim! i have not felt this feeling of exciting for quite long time!!!! thnxs so much to both players!

    • Yes it's interesting isn't it. You put Momen and Coll together, say, and you get a lovely clean hard match. Either of them with Asal and its awful. Shame

  • Farag is on FIRE, but I would love to get the full match or maybe a Free Game Friday for the 5th of Momen vs Ibrahim. What an insane turn around! Ibrahim is one of my favourite up-and-coming players, an absolute demon on court. Well played Momen to close that out!

  • Love this kid @Ibrahim! Just as much, if not more excitement, and action in this game minus the shitty Asal drama! Amazing Squash by both players! Wohoo! Look at them moving! Squash needs more players like this young man fighting hard and honest against a great player.

  • Head scratcher No Let at end of game 3. Coll played ball back to himself. Guessing the NL based on Refs assessment that Rodriguez wouldn't have got to it but it looked gettable for someone of his speed.

    @timothyloat@timothyloat2 жыл бұрын
  • So if Coll knees a guy in the back of the leg, the ref lets it go, but if Asal gets his body thrown to the ground and head smacked, the ref gives him a conduct game. That's justice

    • Asal certainly didn't make an effort to stop himself falling, but it was a hard fall. The question here is about liability though. Asal has no one to blame but himself for it. With Coll's incident, as far as I was concerned it was completely unintentional from Coll, and again a deliberate block from his opponent.

      @arnaud78@arnaud782 жыл бұрын
    • @@arnaud78 bulletin It was deliberately by Coll He did the same against Farag ...Coll fell and looked up to Farag as if it was Farags fault Coll has a very dark side to him It showed when he pushed Asal down Coll must be stopped before he hurts someone Coll must be stopp
