I haven’t prayed in many months, I have lost faith if I’m honest with my depression and loss of hope in things, but I’ve gotta say: this song makes me really happy when listening to it. Something about it just makes me dance and smile... makes me want to believe and praise again.

When I was a child, my six siblings and I went to choir rehearsal with my parents every Thursday evening. We were blessed to be inundated with the songs represented here. I didn't appreciate it at the time, but today I realize how blessed I was to have these beautiful songs of praise etched in my Spirit. It is written: " Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 Like the prodigal son, I grew up and went my own way. I rebelled against GOD. I found myself in some dark and dangerous places on the path I'd chosen, because I wanted to do what I wanted to do. But by the Grace of GOD, he did not leave me there. I cried out to JESUS. And my Heavenly Father forgave me. He bought me back into the fold. Hallelujah! Amen.

My grandfather died in 2020. He would always mumble this song. We thought he made it up! We looked it up and found this amazing song with an awesome choir. I have a cousin who was born in 2020 before he died, and we have a voice memo of my great grandfather singing this song when we found out he was born. My cousin that was born has down syndrome and his name is Truett, which means Gift from God. Every time I listen to this song I think of him.
