I heard a few lines diff at first haha but seeing yours I'm positive these are right! I heard "through the lonely skies, it's a lonely fight." At first
I like that line! Who knows until official lyrics are out. I’m still not sure on some like does he say “hatin” or “hated” in the chorus? Is it “taken” or “takin’”?
Im pretty sure the third verse says “she hasn’t left” instead of “laughed” sounds like it and makes more sense to me haha
@@Nimbushazeyou’re right, could totally be left instead of laughed. I considered that but liked the juxtaposition of laughed and cry in succeeding lines

is that how people felt in the 80's listening to those cheesy songs for the first time? i mean, in the sense that to us this is fresh, so i wonder if that's also how they felt when 80's sounds became popular back then. anyways, his music is so minimalistic, right on target, and the lines are sweet, dark and introspective at the same time.
