    • @@kalelpinas what are you trying to say? Elvis wasn't born to it, he really wasn't that much of a showman early in his career. Talented, but not a showman. Same with MJ, as far as that goes, though he got started very young. Berry Gordy personally taught him how to be a showman. Some people have an innate sense of how to put on a show, even when their talent is really only mediocre, their showmanship puts them ahead of the pack. Some would make it on talent alone anyway, but good showmanship can do a lot. For instance, Lady Gaga has some talent, but it's her showmanship that gets her noticed. Garth Brooks ain't all that in the singing department, though he's not terrible, it's knowing how to put on a good show that made him so huge. Some people have the showmanship in their soul, some of it can be learned, but when it's learned it doesn't have the same .... pizzazz for lack of a better term.

      @yaneyd93@yaneyd933 жыл бұрын
    • @@yaneyd93 Easy/ Check the backgrounds of the coaches. How many of them know anything about the Blues or Jazz? The same goes for Opera singers. Most coaches have no clue what to do with them. Since I've lived right below Germany for the past 15 years, I've listened to a lot of German music. That doesn't make me an expert by any means. But it does give me an appreciation of many forms of that country's music. Same goes for many of Western European countries.
