I started making videos for my channel at the beginning of November 2015 and still only have 12 subscribers. I think for people who are new to making videos have so many people who are way more experienced and have way more subscribers than us that we have to compete with. not really like it's a competition, but people might ask, why should I watch you when I have Jaclyn Hill to watch? I just hope that us small channels can grow to be as successful as Jaclyn Hill's or other successful channels like hers.

  • I've been watching for almost 5 years and the amount of negative comments and thumbs down lately is bullshit. I'm truly furious with ppl lately. I watch out of love for your personal but truly you are the only person that delivers WEARABLE tutorials. I'm a office job/punk/goth, kinda girl and you give me the best of all world's. I dont know what is happening, i read a couple of comments and saw that people were complaining about the same different make up look i get that, maybe it happenned i dont feel that, me personnaly i come on her channel to get positivity and also inspiration, she is an amazing person , i wish people knew her , for how she really is ... not for what she is showing to us, and if you are dissapointed or you dont like soomething why dont you unsubscribe, it would be much easier.

    • I think the more popular women get on here, the more annoying it is to other women. Women naturally compare themselves to other women all the time, so for those that are less secure about who they are, women like Jaclyn are an easy target. Additionally, she has a big personality that a lot of people (including me) love, but, a lot of people find obnoxious - which speak more of them than it does of her. I think it's great that she doesn't let her change who she is. She doesn't tone down and isn't mousey about shit. It's really sad because Jaclyn has clearly worked really hard to get where she is and some women can't see that. They just see that she gets the expensive bag and the expensive clothes and fancy things and they freak out. Instead of letting that inspirer them, that sit at their ass and talk shit about her. It's all on them. It has nothing to do with Jaclyn - she's just the punching bag. So sad. I love Jaclyn and think she deserves what she has.

  • Reading the comments on this video makes me so so sad. Thank you SO much Jaclyn for making this video. I know that Morphe brushes are good, but I can never decide what brushes to get. I know that you get a million comments like this a day, but please ignore all the stupid hate and just keep doing you girl. You're such an inspiration and so unbelievable gorgeous.   • I cannot fathom how you could say Morphe is great quality. Its not, its just really not. I have the 35W palette and the quality is horrible. Pigmentation on the lighter shades is basically nonexistent, and the fallout on the shimmery shades is terrible. Ruined my foundation. I also have a blending brush for the crease, can't recall which one, and it sheds like crazy. It is HIGHLY suspicious to me that an alleged "certified" MUA who clearly has access to unlimited luxury brands, would tote this one as high quality. Oh i'm sorry did I say tote. I meant shove down our throats in exchange for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

  • After watching this video i purchased the F80 kabuki foundation brush and fell in love with it!   • Hey Jaclyn! I'm sure others have commented this but just in case no one has: if Georgie is dragging his bum on the floor it can be an indication of worms. Without going into gross detail, the worms basically make his ass itch. So just grab a worming tablet from the vet (or whatever worming method they recommend)! Worm Frankie too because they can pass worms to each other. Thanks for this vid! I've been laboring over what morphe brushes to get and now i have a pretty good guide!

    • Samantha Sacasa yeah it can. But that's more rare. The vet will usually inspect and if they can't immediately see anyting they'll worm them first because it can never hurt to worm them.

    • +Mandy Cummins small dogs have a tendency to not be able to empty their anal glands themselves so the vet has to do it manually. It's quite common and they will drag their butts like that when they need emptying

  • Thank you Jacklyn for the brush info. I live in Seattle so I'll have to go online. Now I can shop with Morphes brush knowledge. I have tons of brushes that work well, but I like the numbered ☝️ ones because it's easier to remember what to do with what. Makeup has truly become a technical art. When I was young and working at Macy's in cosmetics, the ultra thin brow was the rage. Now, I literally have 8 hairs in each brow, but I've mastered the 'new brow look.). All of my makeup junkie friends want me to teach them the new brow defined look. The youngest of my friends is 68! I'm 70 and we are having the time of our makeup junkie lives. We are highlighting and contouring and concealing. But most of all, we are having fun. Thank you and all of the KZheadrs who are doing these fab tutotials💄💅🏾

  • I looked up morphe brushes and am so glad I came across this video. I hope you are getting paid because you did a wonderful job of explaining exactly what you loved about each brush. I am much older than you but I need all the help I can get! I have about 4 of the eyeshadow palettes and absolutely love them . My problem with color payoff, to me, had to do with using the best brush. I'm going to buy some of these based on your recommendation. Have a wonderful new year Jaclyn.

    • I think there is a fine line between an opinion and insult. People get so nasty towards each other in the comments. Even a good comment can get mean comments and a dang war starts! I agree everyone should be able to voice their opinions but tastefully. Resorting to name calling and being rude is what I think Jaclyn does not like to see here. Women calling each other ugly, stupid bitches is not okay.
