Captain Audie Murphy, U.S. Soldier and Actor, was the most decorated combat soldier of WWII. He was awarded 3 Purple Hearts and the Congressional Medal of Honor among other awards. Horace Heidt interviewed him on the Swift Show Wagon in 1955 as the NBC TV show saluted celebrities from the Great State of Texas.
