@@-ArkinI'm for the theory that it's because of a deal with Apple. I mean, other than that there's literally nothing that could stop them from enabling controller compatibility on Android and 120fps on PC. The most ironic thing is that the few existing smartphones with an official Genshin skin run on Android and therefore do not allow you to take full advantage of it. What a stupid marketing decision.

@@TheyCallMeDioCan play genshin with max settings on an Android device swiftly here.. the temperature doesn't even go past 37⁰C with good air conditioning. It's still very annoying for android players with capable devices who want to enjoy the game the way they want.. many have complained and are still complaining about the lack of controller support for Android.. but I really don't think they will support it at all.

I've not tried this version of the product before, but I remember having a Kishi for my iphone, it worked fine, but the controller felt very loose after equip/detach after a few uses. 150 for a controller is insanely high. Not awful, but probably better options on the market.

Genshin Impact on Android does not have controller support. That said, Razer does have Razer Nexus app to map touchscreen controls to the controller, and highlights this with Genshin. Was hoping you would show that feature to see how it is since I've been on the fence of getting one. Perhaps you can do a follow-up video showing that in use to see how it is.
I bought one at xmas, but the genshin buttons on android using the nexus app could not be adjusted or remapped. I hated the default button setup. Also the interact button was mapped incorrectly and failed over 50% of the time. I had to let go of the controller with one hand to reach over and use the phones touchscreen to get around the issue.
@@13Nagash13 that's interesting. I've seen videos showing that it can be adjusted and remapped on the Nexus app. Unless they updated it where you can't adjust it anymore for some reason. Which wouldn't make sense since each phone is different with their screens.
@@izzymc85 see the tricky part is iPhone you can remap buttons, and these companies don't always clearly mark when they are showing Android vs ios features. But again, my experience was back in Dec. Before I returned the product I gave them a very detailed feedback complaint, so the issues might have been patched by now. But I wanted to bring my experience up, so that android users can be wary and purchase from somewhere with a good return policy.
Remapping is mostly an in game feature anyway, 150$ is way too high of a price imo. But good review nonetheless.
Just buy it on blackfriday or on Christmas time it will be probably much cheaper

Just got mine of Amazon few hours ago. Superb controller. Just the feel and ergonomic is so nice. And the black color with rgb makes it extra special. Much better than Gamesir G8

@@Bos_Meong I’m on iPhone 15 pro max. There are lots of things I didn’t like about G8. Just the overall feel was not satisfying as Kishi. It didn’t work with case unlike Kishi works fine with case. To connect the iPhone to G8 I had to tilt the usb connector up then put my phone and extend the telescope. It was not fun and was scratching my port. On Kishi the telescope is super smooth, it’s like connecting Backbone, USB fits perfectly every time blindly. G8 app didn’t even work on phone, the app installs but there is no G8 to add. Kishi app on the other hand is gorgeous. G8 was white and it looked really ugly on black phone. Kishi looks so dark smooth and gorgeous with pulsing rgb. Also G8 telescope was wide so it covered phone back fully, didn’t help with the heat. Kishi covers just a small portion of the phone and I find it helps with heat. Honestly so many things good about Kishi. Also in most game Kishi button mapping way superior then G8

Wanted to point out that the one you got is the Kishi Ultra not the pro. Just a got the razer Kishi V2 (Non pro or Ultra) a few days ago. For Android players wanting to play Genshin or any other games with the Kishi V2, You just got to use the virtual controller through the Razer's Nexus app which was the selling point for to get one. It's been a blast though i primarily play on PC.
I love this controller. I got it on my Amazon fire 8 and my S22 ultra. Im in cloud gaming heaven

I think Genshin doesn’t recognise controllers on a phone in general. I once tried it with my iPhone and switch controllers. They were connected and worked but Genshin didn’t like em😂

The one thing I despise with these controllers is the ergonomics for example the pinky and ring finger, your hand can’t comfortably use the right analog stick for fps games 3d games in general it’s not a fun experience.

Had the Razer Kishi v2 for iphone before, not worth it. 1 year after using, it doesn’t work anymore because the ribbon is very fragile.

mihoyo forget to put controller support on android like spirall abyss. The qol and endgame team are working hard to fix the card game.
Genshin doesnt support controller on android. But theres a way, and its superior than the Hoyoverse official controller. Its Mantis Gamepad Pro. Why? Because you can combine touch screen and controller, making playing genshin still feels like having a mouse. And its very customizable. Highly recommended it.

I have Razer Kishi for iPhone with lightning port, it works perfectly fine - quiet and easy to use. Still waiting for hsr to support controllers on mobile.

Moga, You Cannot Play Genshin impact with Controller on Any Android Phone. You have to have some 3rd Party app to use it. otherwise No you cannot Play Genshin on Android with controller. Like any controller it Dosen't work.
Android doesnt support gamepads it was exclusive for Ios only ... so you gotta use the razer app thing
When I tried using the razor app thing at xmas, the buttons could not be remapped, and the buttons fell like they were mapped by someone who has never played. Charged shot characters were impossible to use, and the interact button mapping was placed wrong and failed half the time(it either failed to pick up items or failed to talk to npcs regularly)
