“Someone who is actually singing!”, girl, they were all singing! I love people who find different ways to use the voice!
Right
I agree.
I respect your opinion. But I’m pretty sure “actually singing” meant singing that is actually pleasing and sonically appropriate in singing. But there’s no denying about how crazy and amazing these people could do with their voices.
@@codixsehun4020 sonically appropriate? Pleasing?
Yeah no they definitely were not all singing
All of the performers did outstanding jobs, but most of all, is Tara’s entertaining reactions to the performance! Very fun and entertaining! Tara was having such fun!
All of these singers are amazing and absolute vocal beasts! The clip says Diana Ankudinova has a deep voice for a woman, while this is true I think it's important to mention that she is only 15 years old in this performance, her skills have continued to develop since. I hope you go down the Diana rabbit hole, I would recommend starting with her earliest performances. All the best to you😊
I learned how to do throat sining. Start with singing a droning note then slowly, while holding that note, move smoothly through the sounds of e-u-w-r. Key is to go slowly until you hear the overtone. Once you hear it you can get other tones by drawing your lips closer, like whistling or lifting your tongue.
Please do a part 4! I love you Tara Simon! You're my favorite vocal coach! 💛 ❤❤❤
*Contestant laughs* Tara: that is a great head mix right there!
2:45 In normal parlance, it's throat singing. The actual term, translated from Faroese, is something along the lines of "troll singing." It's a Norse/Viking type of singing to tell stories, for a great example check out Eivor - Trollabundin
Just to give you a little background on Diana Ankudinova. She was. abandoned by her biológical parents but she was adopted when she was a child. She had speech impediment and to help Diana Ankudinova her adoptive mother paid to give Diana singing lessons. She's a contralto.
5:20 its very recognizable with perfect pitch, B0
Try not to say wow videos are my absolute favorite! Love you Tara❤️
What did i just listen to? Happy New year hun❤
Ha ha, Diana (The one you said sounds like she has a vocoder in her throat) fans have been begging you to review her for years. I don’t recall if you ever did her once. Maybe it was that song. I love the South African lady that came before her though, maybe if you can review her and Diana, that would be great! Not on the same day, though, lol.
Yes! ☺️👍
omg i love you tara i’ve been dying laughing at your reactions❤😂
That first one right there with the clicks, that's us Tara! Much love from SA 🇿🇦
I love the first clip! Traditional African song is so beautiful.
I LOVE watching you do these types of reactions, Tara. So much fun! You're one of the first (and regular) vocal instructors that I have been following. I was unaware of the app and I think it's a brilliant move that you have developed one. I'm definitely going to download it today and I have a few friends to share it with. Have a great weekend!
Thank u for being such a loyal fan. I appreciate u ❤️ I hope u enjoy the app! And please share away! It’s such a special place for singers to collab and to network.
@@Tarasimonstudios Thanks for all of the work you put into your videos. I respect the knowledge that share with all of us. Absolutely will share galore! :)
in that Tim Foust clip he went down to a C0 (according to a few videos i have seen) in chest/fry mix. the lowest note produced by the human vocal cords is G-7! by tim storms and at that point you can even hear it and we need special machines to be able to say what it is.
Ur amazing btw, and I'm an aspiring teenage singer songwriter, so I think you're really inspirational 😀
Run hard after those dreams! Jer 29:11
I knew that that little girl was going to do a low, heavy metal growled before she did it, lol! It was so clear the music was going to be metal!
Diana Ankunidova is fantastic. Must hear her song Rechenka. Fabulous
You need to check out Diana Ankudinova. She's a dynamic contralto that's polyphonic. 🤯
Diana Ankudinova have long surname, but now we can call she Diana Wow.)
Um Tara, Warning jumpscare at 0:14 Your very welcome, that was a Ailen voice ive never Heard before.
I love when you do the 'try not to' challenge, because: 1) you're able to explain these unusual ways of singing really well in an understandable way; and 2) you get progressively worse at the challenge itself.
I loved this video and reaction!! Hilariouus ahahahahahaha
Wait, you've never seen Diana Ankudinova before Tara? That's really surprising! Also, I've heard Geoff Castalucci from VoicePlay go lower than Tim did there.
Hello Tara I love your reactions so much and I love your energy and your emotions that you transmit to us through it. If ever I could dare ask you to react again to this great and wonderful Dimash to whom you have not reacted for so long. I could suggest in particular these last two songs that he sang during his concert on December 23, 2024 in Hong Kong: "Smoke" "When I've got you". These are fancams but it is very likely that videos will soon be available on his official channel. But there are also so many others that you have not done and which would surprise you just as much as during your first reactions, reactions that I watch regularly to remind myself how much you too loved Dimash. So while waiting for further reactions, I wish you and your loved ones all the best in the world and in the universe in your hands. Greetings from France
As a metalhead, i saw the thumbnail and was just immediately "OOO i Love harper !!!"
You are so beautiful Tara.. Lots of love from your lover here in the Philippines..love u much
I think I've heard that Avi Kaplan (previously with Pentatonix) can go *slightly* lower than Tim Foust - there's a clip from Pentatonix's early days where Avi blew the speaker on "Hey Momma/Hit the Road Jack" because he went so low. Avi can also do overtones. Truly a gifted singer.
I have to say, that saying WOW seven times is a lot. I feel like I say it a whole lot more than you do. I'm working on this myself, so you're not alone.
Omg i wish i could hear these...
O_O I feel refreshed. SO stimulating to hear some real culture and something so far removed from KZhead, it's a relief and a joy for the brain.
obsessed how Tara did not even try to do the challenge xD
😂💁🏻♀️

Calling foreign singers "aliens" and "these people" sounds incredibly xenophobic.
A bit rude to say 'actual singing' while the other artists are actually singing
