  • Rita already got the recognition she deserved as an artist at the beginning. However, she chose to focus on being famous rather than being an artist. And now she paying the price. Her time is up as a performer. She’s just famous now. Most people couldn’t name 2 songs from her.

    • @@user-ui6kh4ou6f cause I see things for what they are, even though I wish she somehow comes back to her best (Last of Us is a good song). She definitely lost too much momentum after Phoenix, didn't develop a clear identity, created too many feuds and ostracism towards her with an extremely divisive and incoherent personality, landed in independent artists land but honestly she needs a solid background otherwise she goes nowhere, lost prime looks (honestly real Rita is blonde, curvy and has red lipstick, anything else is not Rita to me) and appears way aged, her last album like I said charted nowhere (some fantasy chart her PR team wants to sell us apart) and these days she looks really washed up, while she just started the collabs' path again and tries to enter other ventures thanks to her daddy hubby. She needs new ideas, new people around her, a return to a more distinctive sound for her vocals (I'd like a return of something more r'n'b like her early days, blended with something more soul). In general I'd dare to say everything around her always been wrong, with the exception of 2012-14 and 17-19. Leaving aside the fact she knows how to use the system, create networks, grab money, get spots and the combo Elena-PR team is hall of fame material for all those things. But these things unfortunately are useless for captivating general public.
