I know we all love our actors to have their natural accent. But I admire Priyanka Chopra for seeming so effortless to American audience when she blended herself in to the pop culture of Hollywood. She may have put up a facade but she has also broken a lot of stereotypes along the way. For someone like me who has been in the US for the last 8 years and have had my own ups and downs while navigating thru the American way of life, I relate to Priyanka Chopra's switching of accents based on her audience. For those sitting in India it may seem fake, but PC has ensured that being from India doesn't mean we all look and sound the same way. So while I do agree that she may get carried away by the image she puts out but she wouldn't have gotten the kind of coverage if she sounded like Deepika Padukone.

So true. The "real indian accent " is not accessible to the American audience. They don't understand it. So i feel in showbiz it was a business decision. Deepika also did a Hollywood movie. She also did like an interview or two but she never got the sort of coverage Priyanka gets. So i feel we should let her be rather than trying to pull her down. Indian Americans switch their accents all the time so they are understood better and the focus is on what they are saying rather than how they are saying it.
I think she should be appreciated for being able to blend in anywhere she goes. If she were to go do movies in Russia and adopt their accent while speaking in English she would be more accessible to the audience there and that would be amazing. Literal global domination! Americans won't really understand her if she spoke the way she is speaking here and her ability to change with the context is brilliant.
This is by far the most authentic she has ever been. Only interview of her that I loved!

Hands down this was Priyanka's best interview! She was so comfortable and funny at the same time. Desi girl in true sense! Best wishes for her and the movie.

I don't understand why people bash her for her accent. Honestly, I'm from UP- when I go to my hometown I'm all like "humko nahi pata" and I study in delhi, so there "I'm all meko ni pata". When I talk to some of my Punjabi friends, I just get an accent. I don't do this voluntarily and I even searched for it- turns out it's a totally psychological thing. You have an involuntary need to fit in with people you're with, and sometimes it does happen. If it doesn't happen with you, that's coool- if it does that's cool too. Not everybody's psychology is same. So the people who say that if she CAN talk with an indian accent, why doesn't she- apart from the fact that she obviously could pick it up living for so long abroad, it could just be an involuntary thing. Stop making a mill out of a mole! Just stop with the negativity already
The best part was none of these comics wanted to be funnier than the other. They were all uplifting each other, laughing at each other's jokes. Beautiful to watch! And PC is damnnn funny❤️❤️

This is the most down to earth Bollywood Actor ever. She's just a Naturally Talented phenomena. She is an ICON in her own right. She has been a wonderful ambassador for India Internationally and especially for UNICEF and is fighting so hard for the rights of young girls. She is 20 years next year 2020. in the Acting business and still going strong. Yet, many still grudgingly gossip and spread false propaganda about her all the time, isn't it bloody amazing the mentality the haters have. She has more than proven her worth both in Bollywood and now in Hollywood and right now, the world is Pryanka's Oyster. I wish her well and all the best in all her future endeavors and in her wonderful marriage to Nick Jonas.

Oh my goodness! This was the funniest and the most honest interview I have ever seen of a celebrity, it was like a few buddies hanging out with no filter whatsoever. Loved it.
