Learn how to do a burnout in a manual transmission car!
I took my 1999 BMW 323i e46 drift car and showed you guys how to do a burnout, it may seem like a simple thing but a lot of people really don't know how to do one and control it at the same time!

  • In that BMW you have to press and hold the ASC button until you see a second yellow light on the dashboard. This will turn the traction control off completely. Pressing the button just once still limits the power and the car stalls.

    @borislavkolev6263@borislavkolev62635 жыл бұрын
    • wrong. I have a e46 318Ci with ASC. Pressing it once or holding it 20 seconds does not add a second light. If u just press it for 2 seconds you will see a yellow light on the dash. Only with DTC or DSC you need to hold it 10s

      @chemistryfps@chemistryfps Жыл бұрын
    • @@chemistryfps Maybe it depends on the model. My car is a 2002 320d 150hp (facelift) and when i hold ASC for more than 3 seconds it shows a second yellow light (the parking brake light turns yellow).

    • @@borislavkolev6263 Interesting, I seen alot of e46’s with battery in the trunk, mine is in front under the hood

      @chemistryfps@chemistryfps Жыл бұрын
    • @@chemistryfps My e46 is a wagon and the battery is in the trunk.I think its because there is no space under the hood or is just weight distribution. Most BMW's have their batteries in the trunk.

      @borislavkolev6263@borislavkolev6263 Жыл бұрын
    • For clarification: If you have a pre-facelift model (like @chemistryfps), you only got ASC (Anti-Slip-Control). You only need to press this once to deactivate it. If you have a facelift model like @borislavkolev6263 you got DSC which has to be pressed about 5 seconds to deactivate it fully. The Battery is only in the trunk if you have a 6 cylinder petrol (320i and up) or a diesel engine. 4 cylinder petrol (318i and 316i) ones got it under the hood

    • Blanco Escondido There are different level for the ess supercharger, it can go from 50hp to around 200/250hp more. In addition you have to upgrade some parts to be able tu run it reliably and cams for the top hirsepower one. Some says thta you havebto replace the pistons and rod after 400 hp on the m52tu so you might want to do it just to be safe. You can get way more power with a turbo kit but it's more complicated to install it, there is not a lot room under the bonnet of those cars. The ess supercharger just slap on the side of the engine and replace the intake manifold, if done right it can look pretty stock.

  • I attempted to do a burnout on grass (as to not ruin my tires) in my 1955 GMC half-ton pickup with its stock V-8 and automatic transmission. It couldn't do it as it was too heavy especially with 1000 pounds of junk in the cargo box. It was also too strong of an engine and driveline as the brakes couldn't hold it in place even if I was pushing as hard as I can on the brake pedal.
