2019 Can Am Outlander 570 Big Gun EVO U exhaust

Installed Big Gun EVO U without silent core insert. Just a quick video to show how it sounds still waiting for fuel controller from supplier. Didnt want to run it long or anything to open nothing but 1/4 throttle taps. I didn't like a silent core insert it took it down 2-3 decibels, but you can tell it restricts. Let me know what you think.

  • I love the sound of this! Do you happen to still have the link to it? I want to make sure to get the right one.

  • Hey Sean I know you said you went 27x9x12 on all 4. So the factory rims are all the same size right? I’m about to order the same set for my 2017 outlander

    • Yes the stock rims are all the same size. I kept my stock tires and rims separate incase I need a backup set. But most certainly you can use the stock rims. I went with the Ocelot Sanji steel wheel which was lighter by 1-2 pounds then stock. The offset I got was 4/3 which gave me an inch extra on both sides and its really stable. Stock offset is 5/2.

  • Did you have to buy something in order to tune the exhaust or were you able to get it tuned without buying anything?? Thanks!

    • Take your ECU off simple and easy, send it to Mr.RPM and he will tune it for $250 cheapest and most effective thing to do. If you don't want to tune it there's another exhaust that doesn't require a tune it's the GSE Trail Tamer. The Big Gun EVO is the loudest exhaust for the Outlander.

  • I know you haven't had it a real long time but how has the reliability been? I'm in the market looking at a Honda Foreman and a Suzuki King Quad 500. I just ride with buddies in the woods I don't do any deep water or thick mud. So it really wouldn't be getting abused. I'm just curious because I hear these and Polaris have terrible reliability records. Just trying to get some honest answers from people that own them before I put down my hard-earned money on any of them the Honda in the lead

    • I would say there's a good bit of reliability information on Facebook groups and Can Am forums, which is what steered me towards the Can Am. So far mine has been a very good machine. I know personally know others have seen untouched 1000s of miles of service. Doing the maintenance needed per the owners manual. The power is going to be night and day between everything you listed. If you want rock solid reliability then a Honda it is. But I have seen plenty of Hondas get stuck due to the front differential, not to say a locker for $300 won't cure that. But the Viscolok hasn't failed me and I've been through some nasty stuff.

    • @@seanmcdonald5124 right now I ride a Raptor 350. I'm 50 years old and all my buddies have stuff like the Can-Am I'm tired of shifting. The only thing that keeps me really away from the Can-Am if I'm correct all brakes lock at the same time meaning it's not like others where you can control the front and back. I ride a lot of hilly areas and this would be a major concern

      @mzondi1970@mzondi19703 жыл бұрын
    • @@mzondi1970 The front brake controls both correct. But the Can am does have a separate rear foot peg for the rear caliber only. I've been on some pretty rocky hilly situations and never had a issue with brakes. The stock pads don't last very long but I replaced mine with the sintered metal and a much better upgrade in stopping power now. But that's one thing I will say about Honda and Yamaha they do put a thicker pad on their quads stock.

    • I have 1400 miles on my canam outlander 450 with only one issue I’ve beat on it taken it through mud deep water and going to the sand dunes besides that I run about 50 most of the time cause I usually ride on the road and the only issue it’s had is that I blew up a belt going 65 down a hill and holding it at 65 for 20 seconds straight and that was 20 miles ago the belt withstood me towing my friends atv 10 miles and pulling out my friends at least 15 times from my personal experience canams are very powerful and they’re reliable but at the end of the day if you don’t need power a Honda is the way to go for reliability they’ll go 3 times farther than any canam out there

  • My shop has been occupied with my 96 Impala SS getting maintenance (lots!) and a upgrades, so I went to my buddies fab shop yesterday. Here's the muffler video. kzhead.info/sun/fbuCoNCcj6qflmw/bejne.html. thanks for all your help. Still haven't dropped the $460 on the clutch yet, but will eventually since you said that was the biggest improvement. Sounds exactly like the HMF Titan QS! Love it! I also have the twin turbo ready to go with clamp and tip. That will be fun to hear too.

    • Just search for Ocelot P375 or Wanda P375 they're the same exact tire in whatever size you want. I went with 27x9" all the way around to save weight. 28" and bigger starts to add alot more weight killing performance.
