The quiet disappointment of facilities not working A Greggs sausage roll RAIN My man has truly experienced the UK
And the 6am Kebab lol
Walmart quality. Succinct and to the point
The best comments :)
Every meal garnished with watercress too.
True and he's saw lotta beautiful places and Glasgow is beautiful at night, isn't it?
Security at 3:57 drops his walkie talkie then starts kicking it around, they really do love football in the U.K.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that ^^
Lol
Please ignore my comment 🤪
"Glasgow, England" wow, that's a truly impressive troll right at the top of the video
*cries in Welsh*
We claimed it, Scotland is just a post code 😅(I like Scotland, should be visiting in July 👍)
@@DashCamSheffield no, Scotland is a different country.
my jaw dropped
@@DashCamSheffield are you TRYING to start a civil war?!
It is very refreshing watching your videos. No complaining, instead putting it into a great context knowing that having fresh water constantly available is actually a big priviledge that lots of people in the world just don't have. It makes me hapoy to see you being a happy person, no matter what. Amazing person
I think that's why everyone loves them. My goodness this one building he went into the architecture is Grand
Is it so that most people in the world don´t have access to fresh water?
@@henningerflats just googled....it is 25%...still a lot....2billion....corrected my post :)
@@dietmar_vienna And of the 25% most have access close by. And it makes me no wonder that corrupt overpopulated Africa is without clean water despite all the trillions of aid given to them. "Of the estimated 2.2 billion people without safely managed access in 2022, 1.5 billion had what is considered basic access, meaning that water may not be available on the property, but comes from an improved source such as a water pipe, a protected well or a protected natural source, and collection time takes no more than 30 minutes. An estimated 703 million people are more limited still. Of those without basic access in 2022, over half lived in sub-Saharan Africa, where less than a third of the population is equipped with safely managed drinking water, per UNICEF’s estimates. Meanwhile, in Western Europe and North America, over 97% of people have access to safe water."
"currently in Glasgow, England". You certainly do know how to insult a Glaswegian🤣
No, if you want to insult a Glaswegian you ask them if they come from Edinburgh!
Glaswegian 😂
😂😂
The more I watch your channel, the more I am amused by your sense of humor. Your subtitles are be very amusing at times…. A good laugh. I admire your courage to travel alone to countries you have never been to. Keep going…. I travel thru you. Thank you for sharing your adventures! Sending warm wishes your way. 🥰
I think you handled the lack of water admirably and such a kind way to think about how others don't have access to water on a daily basis. ❤ You're very caring.
Never thought I'd see you staying in a cupboard in Kensington and going for a greasy kebab at 4am.
I enjoyed this! The lack of water was appalling but at least you had access to a shower in a station lounge. What a lovely street!
Never thought you are that young until I saw you booked your ticket with a 16-25 railcard!
I think he's under 21 since he seems never drink alcohol even tho there're so many options of wine
So...nobody else gonna say anything about the walkie talkie getting kicked across the floor😂😂
I've been watching your videos for a long time around the world. Welcome to England 🙏
Hi, I'm a Londoner and loved your video! It made me smile watching you getting to grips with the Chicken Tikka Masala, which is indeed a massive favourite for us Brits; we usually eat the chicken with rice (and there's a selection of plain, pilau or mushroom). The Naan bread can be dipped in the sauce as you did
Oh no! I didn't know you were coming to the UK! I hope you enjoyed your stay here! 🥰
Yay! Makes my evening! Lovely visit as always, so glad you enjoyed the haggis! 😂
Well, on the bright side... you have 2 very nice soaps to take home as souvenirs!
I bought a fridge magnet at the Glasgow University gift shop. It took three or four hours, but it was ok with the discounted price.
Rumbling through night, Sleeper train to London calls, Greggs roll sustains me.
Howdy Solo Duck getting Hydrated 😄
I don't think I was ever on a train that arrived an hour too early. What the hecko indeed!
In fact, trains are often delayed. I don't know why transportation in the UK is so expensive and unreliable. There are not many other discounts that can be used after the railcard discount, and the latest is only 5%.
Love how you can improvise and adapt ❤
В целом, это одно из интереснейших ваших видео.❤Отличное путешествие в окружении "плохой британской еды" Но... Я думала, что вагоны без воды должны быть освобождены от пассажиров и закрыты. А людям должны предоставить места в других вагонах
I agree! They should have at least given him a full refund and some vouchers! It really was such a lovely video, he did an incredible job! Lots of love from Atlanta 🤍🙏🕊
Omg the subtitles at 0:26 - Solo-san, the Scottish people won't like that! Glasgow is not in England! 😅
Don't worry, a Glasweigen has a sense of humor and find it funny. You do a wonderful job on your videos. Did you see any statues in Glasgow with traffic cones on their head? Another great adventure video. Very enjoyable.
와우 기다리고 기다리던 영상입니다! 항상 즐겁게 잘 보고 있습니다 :) 😁😀
Путешествую вместе с вами. Всегда положительный настрой, хороший аппетит и вежливое обращение. Всё супер 👍👍👍
It's been awhile since I got your recommendations so I didn't know you do videos outside of japan now. Oh and I just realised you got 1 mil subs now, your channel sure grow a lot, I remember you were on 100k+
I look forward to new videos every time
Дякую вам за прекрасну поїздку, Соло-сан. Стільки всього поместилося,в вашому відео. І Поїзд, і пригоди з водою, смачна їжа, Лондон, прогулянки, готель! Було цікаво😍😍💕💕💕
I am so glad to see a new video. I enjoy your adventures so much. Keep them coming. From Florida
Thanks for the video. I like it. I really enjoy it. ❤
Wow! I love your videos! Thank you for sharing. That burger though, so good!😊
This video is so lovely, it really made me miss autumn! I hope you get to experience my little corner of England some time too.
I thoroughly enjoyed your trip report! 👍
Watching you struggle with the curry and naan was great! British people probably use the utensils...But usually there's rice too, then I'd just eat with the naan until I had to use the spoon for the remnants.
you have to order the rice separately in that kind of restaurant... DX
I was in Glasgow Central today, I work just a block from the station. Your subtitle made me wince, since Glasgow is most definitely not in England, I hope you'll correct it! The Citizen does nice food, my mum likes their Haggis. I didn't like Haggis at all growing up, but I've grown to like it now. Steak pie is one of my favourite foods. Yes, lots of people eat it at Hogmanay (New Year's Eve), so much so that if you're not making your own, you'll probably need to order it specifically at the butcher's as they sell out fast in the supermarkets. I'm so sorry your train had a problem with the water - this has been happening to the Caledonian Sleeper a lot and I wish they'd hurry up and fix it. I don't know why it's a problem as the commuter train I got this morning got it's water tank filled up at a station the Caledonian Sleeper passes through. I'm really glad you enjoyed Glasgow, it can be a loud city, but it's a great place. I have to say... while I do like Greggs, I would definitely have chosen Paul's!! Chicken Tikka is actually from Glasgow, not England...where was your rice? I think they forgot to bring it over to you! It's always served with rice!
He knows Glasgow isn't in England.
Glasgow, Scotland.
cry
@@xdudix no. they're correcting a mistake
You need to understand Solo-san has a provocative sense of humour!
@@jeffreycrawley1216 true lol
Yep, less than a minute in and managed to offend an entire nation. 🤣 Its in part one of the reasons I don’t go to Japan, because Its some I know I’d without trying too!
そろそろTravelサン、とても癒される動画をありがとうございます😊 ロンドンに行きたい私にとっては、凄く良い動画でした😊ありがとう😊❣️
That glass was way too full to drink a real whiskey in Scotland! I think it was apple juice, all along.
Spelt whisky in Scotland, not whiskey.
Loved this video thank you for sharing 😊
I think this video really full of content. What a busy day for you. 1. Waterless cabin. 2. Ate two types of Hagis (wondering about the taste) 3. Saw a king bday celebration ceremony (thats so rare 2 happened) 4. Saw a criminal being apprehended 5. Experiencing other country earthquake Truly enjoyable and scary exp. I hope more interesting video from you. Good luck. 😽
Another great video. I enjoy traveling with you !
Amazing video. Thank you.
Thanks for a great video! Have safe travels to your next destination!
thank you for bringing us in your travel at Glasgow and London, though only virtual. I love the streetscape, must be nice taking a stroll there. you are quite an adventurer with food :) haggis is a pudding of sheep heart, liver and lungs, am not sure if I would take that. Take care and be waiting for your next adventure!
The Niagara falls comment was hilarious 😂
I'm pleased you had a good time. The lack of water on the Caledonian Sleeper is sadly often 😥 I'm glad you enjoyed the institution that is Greggs!
I like the clicking and clacking sound the heater makes. Lol.
Can't get over you came all this way and went to a Greggs 💀 Great vid as usual!
I was going to go to Glasgow on the sleeper, I decided to go first class in the day and enjoy the scenery, just hope it’s a nice day, it will be in July 2024, as i was a volunteer for the Commonwealth games and it’s the 10th anniversary gathering, meeting up with my volunteering friends who meet-up regularly
Is the sleeper train more expensive than the normal train? I always buy the same-day round-trip discounted train tickets.
It is official--no other country's railways can beat the luxurious Japanese trains! Meanwhile, I like how Solo gives us those discreet thumb signs of appreciation and approvals! 😉
I have never seen Scotland, but Japanese trains are cleaner, more organised, more beautiful! even the capsule hotel...although I would never be able to sleep in such a small place! Thank you for this beautiful other train trip! Arigato from Italy!! 🙏🙋🏻♀️👏
It's not a capsule hotel. It's just a hostel
@@Andrewcfc877 ah! Italian translation was capsule hotel....but always very small, for me!!
I think japan as a whole is a cleaner country (I am scottish) they have more respect for everything in Japan.
@@ksm1985 yes, respect for all countries and their traditions. unfortunately, not speaking other languages well, it is difficult to express the concept or thought correctly.... but, looking at these train journeys, it is like travelling..... I have only been on the Bernina train, in one sunny day shining on the snow....ciao from Italy! 🙋🏻♀️👋😊
that looked like a fun trip guy thanks for showing us
With the Tikka usually have rice with it and some naan in the side 😅
And Chicken Tikka Masala is a British national favorite. Lots of supermarket's "Ready to eat" microwavable meals features it too.
I went looking for this in the comments. Love his vids. Just a little horrified by how he ate the curry.
Haggis goes better with Hot Sauce....Loved going for Breakfast in the Village of Upper Heyford, at the Three Horseshoe's Pub back in the '70s....And the Burger King on Three Sister's Road, in London was tasty back then too....
Спасибо, что взяли меня с собой в это путешествие! С вами я узнаю страны, города, сервис, различные виды транспорта, разнообразную еду! Желаю вам здоровья и удачи!
Congrats for "clearing" haggis that I myself dare not try out yet. The shower rooms at Euston or Paddington are really nice. I'd take shower at these stations if the journey start/end point is there and I have lounge access.
Never try haggis before? Is it good or bad?
@@adit7277 It's not because of whether it's cooked good or bad, but I don't eat animal organs.
Vielen Dank für Deine Reiseberichte. Sehe sie immer wieder gerne an.
My favorite content on KZhead!
Здравствуйте дорогой друг. Очень интересное видио спасибо вам ❤
As usual very good journey
Another wonderful day when Solo Solo posts!
お疲れ様でした❤
Obgda fico sempre ansiosa esperando o próximo video parabéns belo trabalho viajo com seus vídeos ❤
I likes this train😊
38:30 Aah... Tikka Masala accompanied with "Kiss the Rain" instrumental music. Very British indeed :-D
nice one! and also what a coincidence; in 2013 I stayed at the same hotel near Earl’s Court. glad you enjoyed the food!
Good that they got into lounge to shower. Wonder why could not offer you different room . Good early check in well done take a rest before go buy a jacket. Thanks again sharing good video
Great video once again, I'm curious if you'll ever go to the north east of the Netherlands and maybe do a little trip where you go through germany and cross into the nordic countries through denmark. The route with the bridges is quite stunning.
'Middle eastern burrito' for a doner wrap 10/10
Thank you again for another great trip as always, sucks about the water situation on the train but you made the most of it and that's great. After watching your video's I want to try curry now lol. I always look at the ingredients on the kits or sauces you can buy from the store and they all seem to have coconut which due to some past health concerns I was told I should avoid it. So I know if they all have it but would love to try it, to experience the spices and spice level. I always watch these videos and hope to sometime be able to plan a trip to this extent just once to say I've done it. Thanks for always sharing your adventures with us.
Nice trip. 😮
Wowww
Wow wow wow loved it❤
Welcome to the UK and the 'will I - won't I?' get a nice meal gamble. One thing for certain - it will cost plenty.
A good video Solo solo but a wee boob at the beginning. You wrote Glasgow ENGLAND, dear dear ........
We like your videos, Glad you liked England & Scotland, we hope to come to Japan soon & see some of the places we have seen in your videos in Japan 😁
It was lovely to see you visit Scotland & try our traditional dish of Haggis, neeps & tatties, as we call it here! You will have to come further North next time, it’s beautiful in the summer, July & August is the best months here, otherwise you can guarantee it to be very cold, wet, & miserable. I’m in Aberdeenshire, it’s a very large area, but worthwhile visiting. Very many thanks for sharing! 🤗xx
Nice vlog, can't wait to see your vlog on next country
Very enjoyable....would have killed me to stay up until 23:40 to catch that train! Cabin 5 was very nice and super clean! Good to arrive in London at Euston before 7am though. All the food looked really good too!
Olá amigo Eu sou do Brasil 🇧🇷 Assisto todos os seus vídeos Gosto do seu humor peculiar rsrsrs Parabéns pelo trabalho

Glasgow, England 😂. I think Mr Solo is trying to start a war🤣
Be lenient. He is just a guest.
I love your vids!
Never a dull moment ❤😊

Otra hermosura de video, sigue así.
chciken tikka masala is basically butter chicken which is a north Indian Dish
Stating Glasgow to be part of England is wrong. But your video is great, I am pleased you enjoyed your trip to the UK. I come from London but moved away 25 years ago, you showed me places I have not visited since childhood. I had forgotten how magnificent the Natural History Museum is, (not a church of course!). Hope you had a great visit, did you take the train from London under the sea to France, I suspect not as the station is nearer Euston than Earls Court and the other direction from Heathrow Airport. You were lucky with no water on the train, most people complain that the water in the shower is cold but you missed out with that pleasure!
i did have to laugh when i saw solo-san attempting to eat the curry with the naan like that 😭😆 usually you have it with rice, glad you had a good time in the UK!
I think that haggis is sheep guts wrapped in the sheep's stomach. Sounds yummie.
I have traveled three times now on the London - Glasgow C.S. and each year I vow to make it my last as I just cannot sleep for any length of time in these compartments. Be it the constant jigglin' aboot or bogey rattle, I cannot say but going by popular comments, I appear to be in the minority. First Class Avanti next time - said that before!
15:22 I Love that there are clovers on it as garnish. 🏴🇮🇪☘️
I live in Glasgow, it’s surreal seeing one of your videos set here !
Beautiful ❤
Made me happy seeing you go to the very Gregg's that I used to get sausage rolls from after school.
although there are moments i wish u didn't cut the video but i love ur videos sooooo much🤍🤍 ,cant wait to see ur next one🖤🖤
まずい🍴に出会いませんでしたねぇ~😊運がいのかな?? 悪いのかな??🤔🚞の中でお水が使えないなんて‼️😱😓
Brilliant video. If you're ever in England again, come experience some of the countryside in the Cotswolds and some traditional English village pub food.
I enjoy your videos and your quirky humour and personality. That I thought 💭 was my own. Looks like someone else out there in the world thinks and handles situations similarly to the way I do. 😁
