With below zero temps forecasted the next day and the season coming to an end we decide to hunt a body of water that the birds have been using before it locks up the next day. The birds fly out and roost on a different body of water the night before the hunt making it the perfect time to set up.

For the flock y'all shot around 11:08 mark, after you emptied your gun, you should have jumped on your goose calls, fast and excited. 9 out of 10 times you could have got that loner to come back in. Great hunt. great video. have fun

Good shooting guys !! I love the late goose season.
Great hunt guys!!!! No problem with the hunting itself.....lack of lifejackets in an overloaded boat..late.season...not good!!!
You guys are a hoot, but most of you are fairly decent shoots! Better than my old self, for SURE!😊
“Safety First” equaled a laugh snot bubble here. And is that Colin’s brother in the mix? Gotta be, right?
Great video!
This will be great . All the expert knowledge in the comments from KZhead hunting guides and conservation officers will be AWESOME.
What type of barrel are yall using!?!?
nice vid man👍👌
Thank you!!
Why did u say you hunted the roost when the description says otherwise
It was one of few spots with open water and the birds used it some evenings that week so it was still a roost. But luckily they didn’t pick that water the evening before we hunted.
Clearly not that it mattered but why are the sleepers facing in towards the land 🤮.... natural approach... but anyways good shoot!
Resting geese always face the sun if the wind is not a factor or face the wind if it’s gusting. Not sure how that fit with this set. Maybe a 90 degree rotate to the east?
Why hunt the roost?
The water was closing up fast with cold temps and the birds were going to be forced to leave the area so we figured we would hunt there the last morning before the ice closed everything up.
BW Films makes sense kill em all
You don't have to explain what happened after every shot as if we didn't just watch it happen... if you got it on film let the video do the talking
Glad that’s legal in your state but you come here and pull some unsportsmanlike crap down here in Georgia and the Game Warden will have a blast with you. Regardless of legality I can’t believe y’all would put this unethical crap on video.
How is this unethical?
@@hunterwallace1724 everyone has their opinions but to me, hinting around a roost doesn’t give the birds a chance and hunting around where they nest will make them move. So that’s the unethical part. Unsportsman... others who have scouted that area, but do not hunt around a roost for the above reason (and more), won’t get the chance at those birds because they will either be cherry picked leaving the roost or will move. In most states it’s illegal.
@@SquidProQuo1 name one state where it’s in the rule book that you can’t hunt a roost? 😂 that would be a grey area law anyways, who is to say it’s a roost or not? And as to the “nesting” area, those geese they are shooting are most likely migrators this late in the year and will nest nowhere near that lake.
Ha ha name one state where you can't hunt a roost? Georgia? How many times did you vote for Biden?
And this is one of the reasons there is no ducks anymore
