Obviously not, his death still hurts to this day and I miss him very much. That's why I'm so happy they brought back Ferdinand Von Aegir and didn't abandon the character outright. I'm glad that someone else can carry on Billy's Legacy... I have a lot of respect for Ricco Fajardo for taking a role he obviously wouldn't be able to live up to and giving the performance a ton of effort anyways. Ferdinand 2 has my full support knowing full well he's not gonna live up to Ferdinand 1.

Ricco Fajardo can try to replicate what Billy Kametz did for Ferdinand, but it will never be exactly the same, and the inconsistency mixing the two voices would give to Ferdinand would make him sound strange. Billy did an amazing job on Ferdinand, and I hope they don't redo all of his old lines over, but continuing to use the character with a new voice actor is not a bad thing

Billy's last request to the fans before his hiatus leading up to his passing is to support anyone who took on his previous roles and I intend to fulfill that promise in full. Rest in Peace king. Your legacy lives on. ❤️

As a lover of Ferdinand, He's my NUMBER 1 favorite of the "Horse Rider" students, tied with Leonie who is good when she's TONE down on the Jeralt fangirling, frankly I don't mind the Fan archetype that was started by Faye back in Echoes, hell I don't hate Faye in general unlike MANGS and Blazing Knight do LOL! But Leonie DID get annoying in Three Houses with the Jeralt worshipping...funny as I don't hate Framme from Engage for her DIVINE ONE worshipping, but I guess it's cause I get a chulk whenever I get the "The Divine Dragon Looked at me" line when I select her or her brother when moving them LOL! I don't count Ingrid as a Horse Rider, even though that''s one of her better alternatives and Three Hopes agrees with me by Pegasus/Falcon Knight being her prime class! So Slyvain is my second favorite behind them matched by Lorenz....Okay I'll admit I HAVE no hated students, but Ferdinand and his constant reminding me of his full name just CLICKED with me when I first played Three Houses as Black Eagles was my first run. I was sad the month Three Hopes came out and a week playing it (Starting AGAIN with Black Eagles as my first run as ALOT of my favorites character wise like Bernie bear, Dorothea who I SHIPPED with Ferdie back in Three Houses and still do, and I do have a bias that I like Edelgard for FINALLY giving me a decent CONQUEST Option Corrin failed to give! In that she had the right ATTIDUTE compared to whinny IDIOT Corrin! Don't take this as me hating Corrin, their a character who had potential if the writers didn't hold back on them! Just look at Alear! I find them what Corrin SHOULD HAVE BEEN if the story didn't waste GOOD story potential like for example! Lilith and Anankos relation to Corrin! Corrin NEVER finds out and they end up NOTHING characters for it! Sombron and Veyle get SOME enhancements ESPECIALLY Sombron BECAUSE Alear is made aware their his/her Bio father and Bio little half-sister and their adopted and they actually have some growth with that! Alear just makes me CRY on how much Corrin's potential was wasted/missed LOL) that I heard Billy died from Cancer, didn't know he had it, Sad and hope for his family (Especially as I'm the same AGE as he was when he passed! Made me self-conscious abit and scared me into working on my health choices at least!) Rest in Peace Billy! I'm happy I still have Three Houses, and stopped to beat Black Eagles Crimson Flower Route AGAIN with him as my main man as TRIBUTE to Billy's Passing (as in I played it on MADDENING for the first and likely ONLY time, which I prefer playing just Hard Mode/Classic!) Rest in Peace Billy, you will be missed and I'm happy at least Ricco can do your performance with Ferdie well enough! It's not replacing you, it's simply assuring the style of the character you helped shaped and imagine for all us who witness and loved the character for it REMAINS the same! (Sort of like how Troy Baker was able to PERFECTLY capture Mark Hamill Joker and the voice! Assuring when Mark has left the scene for good! At least we have a good Joker VA for those who loved Mark Hamill! I'll admit as much as I love him and view his voice as iconic! I'm okay with Bender from Futurama and other's voicing Joker in their own styles! As long as you CAPTURE what that character was all about! You're doing the first person who established them a GREAT honor by continuing their legacy!)
