But I do think the Pedro Pascal and Jon Favreau one is good too, and doesn't feel as forced as some Hollywood stars snack wars might feel.

  • Ok. I am an artist who has 15 years of experience in drawing, painting both digital and on paper/canvas, but i couldn't get the job to live off that craft for 10 years now. So I did quit. I'm not even trying anymore. I didn't draw anything for the past 3 years. But his speech made me think "Maybe it's not over. Maybe try one more time." Thank you, Mark Raffalo

    @94boarder@94boarder5 ай бұрын
    • Obviously, there’s a limit to everything. You must to make enough to eat, but I’m just another voice out there saying don’t quit, at least don’t let the spirit die. Maybe it’s paused for now, but the artist’s spirit (desiring to create) should always have the freedom of coming out when the opportunity knocks.

    • @@MADCatss Your reply makes me think that - it is you, who are a child. When you are young - you always think that your "goals" and "passion" gonna make you happy and successful. But then the time comes when you have to think about bills to pay, family to feed and parents to help. And "passionate creation strictly for yourself" won't do it. It always comes to money, whether you like it or not.

      @94boarder@94boarder4 ай бұрын
    • @@MADCatss A bit harsh no? If he can draw for fun that's passion enough I would imagine. If he has passion and he is good at what he does he might as well earn money from it right? He needs to meet his basic needs right? Gotta eat, gotta stay warm, some electricity would be nice too.
