This is my musical and sound design version of this amazing short film. I've remade the sound design and the music entirely from scratch.

The short film “HOPE” is about the journey of a new born baby sea turtle named Aqua. During his journey, he faces many obstacles from human pollution to different predators. Using his mind and courage he over comes one obstacle after the other, until he reaches his final destination. Just before he enters the sea, he witnesses a life changing scene, that he bravely over comes and grows as a character.

  • I love turtles!!! This little short film captivated me and the challenges this small guy has to get through to finally "get to the sea" where more challenges await. It truly depicts the obstacles one must get through to survive!!! I would like to know more about the last scene, where Baby Turtle finds another turtle wrapped in plastic. Was that two turtles or one turtle? What is the image we are seeing? Thank you for making this film that I hopes create more awareness and sensitivity to sustaining ourselves and Nature! We must nurture our Nature and Nature in our Kingdom!

  • Would have been helpful to have a disclaimer at the beginning of this short film... I saw the title was called Hope and let my six year old watch it... didn't understand why he was traumatised in tears afterwards.... just a heads up if the movie is called Hope then it usually indicates its a happy movie. For those with young children, without spoiling anything for you. There is a scene that depicts real life consequences of sea pollution and its effect on sea life x
