Do you think these are worth the $50+ premium over the Fostex T50RP Mk3's?

+Gaba I haven't had the chance to listen to the T50RP Mk3's yet but what I do know is they are power hungry. These are also power hungry. They seem easy to drive but it wasn't until I hooked them to my Denon X7200 home amp that they actually came alive. I have a set of Mad Dogs and while the T50RP Mk3's are said to be better by people who have A/B them, I would say based on that reference point these are more fun. I was thinking about buying the K7xx. I just got my T50rp Mk3's and they sound soo freakin good. I have them paired with Schiit Dac/Amp combo. I would hop on the Fostex first since they have the $50 rebate right now.

I've listened to the k7xx from a friend and they are also good. Very flat response where as the T50rp ephasis on the clarity and treble. You qualify for the rebate if you buy the Fostex from an authorized dealer such as Amazon(certain sellers) or BH Photo.
