Walking around Dawlish seafront during a storm isn't for everyone however, I know a lot of people like to see it from the comfort of their own home.
So here I am getting soaked and salty on a cloudy but dry day. It may look like it's raining in places, but it hasn't rained for days. This is all sea.

Very therapeutic, watching that stormy sea!
I grew up near the sea, but have been landlocked of late. There's a kind of beauty to towns like Dawlish on these stormy days. I wish I lived there now.
Spectacular and wonderful, please keep making these in this exact style! No music, bare minimum chat, and lots of seascapes.
Fantastic video !! Thanks for uploading. I enjoyed watching very much. Sorry you got so wet !
The sea is winning this battle....! Great video!
MISSING!!! Dawlish SO! SO! much I HOPE to see you this year, THANK you for Bring Dawlish to me

Very enjoyable..thank you.
Walking it’s good for Health ❤
A beautiful film. so much to see and feel! I almost went for my hoodie in the middle. Brilliant.
Thanks for taking me back BCM! Wonderful walk.
Had to look it up. Per Wikipedia: Sea foam, ocean foam, beach foam, or spume is a type of foam created by the agitation of seawater, particularly when it contains higher concentrations of dissolved organic matter derived from sources such as the offshore breakdown of algal blooms. These compounds can act as surfactants or foaming agents.
Was that new seawall high enough ?
I like how the incoming waves over power the reflected waves. How nice to have such a day.
Wow never seen a storm this bad when visiting Dawlish. Heard about them however. You can see why the new sea wall has needed to go in. Your very brave.
It is possible my ancestors stood on a beach in this area and watched a storm centuries ago. The Cornwall side of the Family was probably near here and the Wolcott side was from Taunton just North of Dawlish. It makes me think that my DNA was in the area which gives me great interest. I wish I could see a lot more of the nearby areas. Thanks for what you show.
Thank you so much for the live streams and videos I enjoy watching it lots of love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Ek is baie bly om dit te hoor.
Pretty smart the seawall return the waves into each other ;)
Still watching videos Neil lol all great stuff you done 👍👍👍
enjoyed the walk 🚶♂️👌☺😊
Great video, even with that wall you can't stop nature and power of the wind
This video showed why one should never buy a used car whose previous owner(s) had a coastal address.
No problem if you wash your car regularly not forgetting the underbody and wax it Spring -Autumn.
I bought a car from a seaside town many years ago. It had beautiful paint but unfortunately very little metal under the paint.
Great video , could sit and watch a rough sea all day .Those poor cars with the saltwater spraying over them reminds me not to buy a car from anyone living in Dawlish haha . I alway thought that white foam was whale jiz . 🤭👍
What power, Spectacular
Thanks for the video. You are a brave man. Or perhaps a boy that didn't grow up? I guess we are all still children at heart!
Very beautiful video, narration only the necessary, would love to visit that town in the near future, it looks so nice the town, many greetings from Germany!

Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭,
Beautiful and fascinating. Thank you! :-)
So interesting about the sea wall - just checked it out re a big storm in 2014. An amazing place, thank you. Love storms and all their drama, magnificent!
AMAZING footage.. thank you so much for going out in this wild weather so we could see what it's like down in Dawlish during a storm. Wow.

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Generally spelt neighbourhood.
@@ds1868 Not in the States!
What a brave young man! Interesting to see different viewpoints. Any news on the new camera to let us watch the ‘Wavewalker’ in operation?
A mighty angry sea!
Were people evacuated from those houses during this time !?
What storm 👀
At least the water was liquid. We have had snow on the ground for the whole month of February, most recent storm dumped about 8 - 10 inches. Today was first day to get more than one degree above freezing for weeks. Felt like a heat wave on our deck.
1 question...what do you film with?
Like Brown Oceanwater .
Hope you receive this question; has the mean sea level changed at Dawlish over last 50 years?
I believe it has. But the sea are definitely rougher during storms.
Nope. Barring spring tides, they're the same levels.
@@MonstaTrapz how can this be, all the ice is melting so we are doomed
@@drdoolittle5724 I know... I've lived here for 37 years and have been on the water since age 8 every chance possible. Surfing, swimming, kayaking, skimboarding, boating and jet skiing. High tide and low tide are at the same mark they were 30 years ago.
Regards from Rob (pressed button too quickly!
Wow very high Wogen 😂
👍☕🏴
They've already spent an apsalte fortune on restoration of the sea wall and have not estimated the rise in the sea level correctly l think they need to revert to plan B 😎😎😎
We all need to head to a beach on Easter Sunday in protest and gridlock the motorways
6 28 , you need thermals
you can practily see those cars rusting away as you walk by.. anyone want a cheap range rover..
