I can't explain how happy I was to see the Bully Boy on. I am a huge fan of the game of darts, and I am so happy to see it start to get the attention it deserves. Michael Smith is such a good guy, and big ups Ariel. You are the best.

Idk about that he has it out for Dana. He overlooks his wife, hitting him first. In his mind, Dana should be guilty and the main focus because he runs ufc and Ariel doesn't like him?? Too soft imo. He doesn't focus on ending his wife's career or trying to embarrass her. It's always the guy, even in a self-defense situation. What if she had a knife in her hand? Dana would still be the guy at fault for hitting back in Ariel eyes his logic is biased and flawed.

I don't always agree with Ariel, not that he would care, but the one thing I respect about him most is that he goes out of his wheelhouse. He demonstrates awareness of other sports and even regional knowledge that the vast majority of journalists couldn't be bothered to learn about.

I wonder how the UFC structures the pay for fighters who work on the desk too like Smith, Cruz, Ponzinibbio, Chito. Like do they get a separate check for that or is it like deducted from their fight purse.

@@supersaiyan4rambo because I feel some fighters might think it’s unfair that some fighters get 2 checks and get paid when they’re not fighting commentating for the UFC. I’m just talking out my ass tbh and just curious. I can see the UFC being like “hey if you commentate for us we will deduct it from your fight purse” so if they weee making 50k show money they’d deduct some of that and have it go towards paying them for commentary so when they do fight maybe they would make less to balance the speaking gig
@@Tkenny35 i don't think that's a thing. They are doing 2 separate jobs. If other fighters were annoyed at that, they can push to be in a situation where they are wanted as commentators/analyst etc.
@@Tkenny35 that’s not how jobs work and would be illegal to dock pay from 1 job because you work another. Especially for the same business, no man they take good care of fighter that double as analysts.
@@Tkenny35 then on top of that most of the fighters have sponsors, KZhead channels, or stream. And make hella money outside the cage, the ufc advocates for it because at the end of the day it brings in ppv buys.
