BBC Radio1's Adele Roberts has been tracking the rise of Korean pop. She is in South Korea to meet biggest band on the scene, BTS.
They talk awards, ambitions and #ARMY. And Adele asks, when will BTS be visiting the UK.

4 years later, still one of the best bts interviews. she flew all the way to sk, even learned about the industry first before meeting the boys, and was respectful and seemed rly genuine. AND this was back in 2017.

- Yes, this is one of my favourites. I never knew about this ( or Kpop ) back then, but seeing it for the second time now, it is really nice to see this kind of interview. I am so happy as a brit myself.😁

I loved this interviewer. she didn't have to interview the choreographer, but she did. sometimes the people behind the screen are so under appreciated. she asked respectful questions appreciating their work, and you could tell BTS felt comfortable talking and joking around. she even got an army on the show

When Adele asked "when did you first know that you've made it?", RM said "this is the evidence, we're speaking to Radio 1, oh my gosh!" He's smart and humble, just like the rest of the gang, and that's why Army loves them.

- up top girly! this was so refreshing to see after so many dumb interviewers treat bts second rate. These boys have a higher fan base than all the mainstream artists like jb or taylor swift combined & they treat us armys well and produce beautiful music. They deserve all this love and more

also the fact that she went all the way to Seoul, first spoke to the choreographer, and then allowed them to all speak in Korean makes my heart so full. She was patient with them and ugh I love her (also UK GOT SOME LOVE)

Oh my god I really appreciate how she just not interviewed bts but also the man the choreographer who is behind the bts success. She really asked so genuine questions like how they live and who cook and all stuff. I also liked the intro of the video. We armys really had to appreciate and love her💜

I felt some pain in my cold heart when Adele asked what is the most relaxing for them and they answered: sleeping. They work too hard. Thank you Adele for promoting them in the UK.

I lovvveeee the interview. Its not awkward or tensed, its very relaxing its like the boys are talking to longtime friends. When bts (exc. Namjoon) responded in english, their response is simple, spontaneous, and honest may be due to language/vocab limitation, but when they elaborated in korean we got a sincere feedback. I love adelle roberts for doing this !!!!

- Kermit Oppa kpop is a term given by westerns to korean singers. koreans dont refer to them as kpop, they either say idol music (exo, svt, ...) or korean music (bts, psy, ...). the difference is that lots of knetz agree that bts have th HAN, an essential part of real music. (im condensing this sooo much it'll be better if u search it up urself, IT'S a pretty big and interesting subject)

I love this interviewer so much. She actually asked them interesting questions and she seemed interested in what they had to say. You can tell that BTS are comfortable in this interview too because they get to say whatever they want to say with a professional translator instead of some other person and BLESS THE SUBTITLES IN THIS VIDEO

They did feel/look comfortable and were able to blurt out anything and had fun before and after the interview! They also interviewed their dance instructor/director! I love how they also thought of him unlike other interviewers. This is 10000000000000% the best out there. *(Ps. Love your username! Lol)*

- I agree with the questions asked. everyone in the US always asked the same questions and they didn't really dig deep into the group, instead they were super artificial and kind of shallow at times. that's not why I listen to this group or that. I want to know them as people not as beautiful objects that can hump anything that walks cause they're famous.
