I agree, I do NOT think Whoopi Goldberg would be the right fit for Wheel of Fortune. I would say the BEST 2 people would be....... either Vanna White (and then Pat Sajak's daughter doing the letters), or Sajak's daughter being the host. No one else could take the place of Pat Sajak, then those two ladies (Vanna, or Pat Sajak's daughter). Although, I do not think Ryan Seacrest would be that bad of a host, that would be my third chose (Ryan Seacreast would be good addition for the host) for Pat Sajak's spot. God Bless Pat! I was totally unaware of his affiliation with Hillsdale College. That has got to be so rewarding for him. I never followed his personal life but I am a Christian and this is making me feel relieved. His background will allow him to use his influence to be a powerful soldier for Christ globally. People of this caliber are very much needed globally now.
I think Vanna could handle the host position, but she may be tired of working also. I love both Vanna and Pat.

Didn't know anything about his early career. The real reason for the retirements is because they're tired! They've wanted to retire for decades, but were begged to stay and paid stupid money to do it.
Wish him the best. I wish they would have given Vanna the opportunity to be a hostess. They are so good together. Hard to understand why no increase in her salary. Also, why is her salary so much less?

I've always loved watching the two of them host the show and be funny, entertaining and I can't wait to see it come on again, it's not been on for months, it's one of the best shows on TV to watch nightly. He had to move on with his life, understandably, and hopefully Vanna comes back, if she wishes and the show will go on again, great as ever.

I wish whoever does the voice for so many of this type of video would learn to pronounce Sajak's name the same each time he says it. He used three or four different version of Pat's last name. I have also noticed this on other videos.

Pat Sajak and Vanna White were 2 beautiful people inside and out and that show The Wheel Of Fortune will never be the same without them, its going to be very hard for someone to fiil their shoes...so they better use great discernment when looking for replacement,because the wrong choice can cause it to fold !!

I love wheel of fortune and Pat and Vanna. I would like to see Vanna supported. I would not like to see Whoopie or anyone who pushes issues that go against family values. We have had 5 generations of people watching together and the intellectual challenge of trying to solve puzzles, stretches the mind and is fun family activity. Now that I am older. I still enjoy Wheel of Fortune!
