    • its comparing apples to oranges. Local farming only can provide so much food for the population near it. For the rest of the entire country with a population of near 340 million people you cant rely on a few local farmers. Mass production of the food processing industry is necessary. Otherwise you'd have millions of hungry people. It's not the best solution but its the cheapest and easiest which is what these big corporations want. Little expenses and big profits.

      @Darth1Marik@Darth1Marik9 ай бұрын
    • @@Darth1Marik All that junk food in the video has very little to do with the mass agriculture of grain. The food manufacturing industry is not a natural extension of the agriculture. It's also not to the benefit of the consumer as it's laden with sugar, salt, and sadly lacking flavour. Small local farmers can and should be part of the entire food production industry. I'm glad you showed your Americocentrism by only talking about the population there. Forget that there are 7.9b who also live on this planet.

    • @@snifferdogxsnifferdogx5977 wow. . . .dude I wasnt JUST talking about the candy, I didn't show any Americocentrism, the original comment didn't mention anything about food production on the global scale. If you want a conversation about that either go somewhere else or maybe don't assume what someone else is talking about and get angry about it. Also one country *CANNOT* produce or provide food for 7.9b you so speak of. The entire planet would have to pool its resources to do that but good luck convincing them to do so. You're probably some hippie who doesn't know how the real world works based on your ignorance.

    • @@estellehillermann7650 Oh, I am sorry. I think that the title was automatically translated to German. I try to say it in English: When there is a cut in the video, as someone who watches, it always takes me a second to realize whether this scene has anything to do with the previous one or if it deals with a different process. So it would be a good idea to insert maybe 1/8 second of black between scenes that deal with a different process. So that a viewer instantly knows after a cut whether this scene still belongs to the current topic or to a new one. i.e.: Egg machine/cut/egg machine/cut/egg machine/cut black/pizza machine/cut/pizza machine/cut black/apple machine/cut/apple machine...

  • At least all these machines still need human intervention - when they go off the rails, which any machine can do🥴

  • Just another reason why our economy is crashing every day. big corporations making billions of dollars in revenue would rather use “free labor” with machines then invest in there own surrounding neighbors and economy. Keep up the great work 👍🏻

  • i see many people are comparing the machine work with mother's love. the thing is if somehow machines were to replace homely or mother's love then what would their value even be. these machines are not designed for you to make food that feels motherly but instead is for the mass consumer.

  • This was fascinating and I'm glad I watched it. But I can't bring myself to drop a like on it. The rapid and relentless disorganization of the content, where I don't always know what I'm seeing, is a big problem in certain situations. The visceral imagery (a crab being utterly destroyed while still alive, whole hogs hanging and being filleted, and then we hop rapidly to a relaxing and neat cupcake frosting machine?) comes too fast and with no warning. The experience of watching this was too jarring and uncomfortable (for me at least, as a vegetarian). That said, I do appreciate an insider's look into this world. Thank you!
