The main reason I enjoyed this season so much as an Arsenal fan is because I feel the fan base is as energised and together as it has been in a long time, but that narrative is never presented to non-Arsenal fans .. they just have someone like Ty speaking of the trophies we won a decade and a half ago and upsetting the entire flow of the programme through pure childishness. Bored of the big 6 agenda every single overlap, where the only time they talk about other teams is when someone like Everton nearly gets relegated or Newcastle becomes the richest team in the world. That or they're eyeing up one of their players for a transfer, like last year's Kane and grealish's situation. I get the larger fanbases for the bigger teams and that, but a bit of representation for every club's voice in the variety of fans they have on these would be a breath of fresh air.

People who find it funny are the exact kind of people that make Hillsborough remarks, or Munich remarks, or go around using phrases like "banter club" or "bottled". He shouldnt be on. If you cant speak at least remotely objectively and rationally about football on a program such as this; youre taking the place of someone who could, who would add real value.

    • @@jg5622 lol i understand of course. But football has never been like that. Thats a yank thing. A social media thing. Is sad to see it creeping in. Shock jocks and the like. Football and its analysis has always been more intellectual in Europe and the UK than in any other parts of the world. People like Ty have no place in that. I have supported Liverpool for 30+ years so ive seen and heard both sides. The banter club remarks, the bottled it remarks, the hateful remarks, and also the delusions of Liverpool fans who were like Ty. That shouldnt be the thing were highlighting. Every club has its Ty’s. Its sad that people associate him with the Arsenal fanbase because they arent like that. I remember watching Arsenal week in, week out, due to the fact they played brilliant football. They were the City or Liverpool of the time. Players like Henry, Wright, Adams, Bergkamp, Vieira, Overmaars, Cole. I remember the 4-4 game with Arshavin scoring 4. What a game. What a classy player. Arsenal are a huge club. A historic club. They shouldnt be giving Ty the spotlight. Its just bad for all concerned and for anyone with a brain; not a good watch.

  • Elite managers get 2.0 PPM for all competition: Pep - 2.33 Klopp - 2.10 Tuchel - 2.12 Conte - 1.89 Artea - 1.84 Rangnick - 1.50 the test is for TH to make it top 4 in his first full season AND at least 2.0 PPM. If he's able to do it, he's an elite manager. Klopp, Pep, Tuchel, they have done it (but Tuchel fumbled last few matches and got 1.95 PPM, that shows his vulnerability). They are elite. Now it's a battle between Conte's first full season (he made 2.0 PPM in the league in his half-season) and TH, for the last spot in top 4. It's a real test to see whether TH is in the elite manager rank, or he's in the 2nd tier with Arteta, Moyes, Rodgers, Potter, Howe. In order to get 2.0 PPM, TH needs at least 76 pts. Only Mourinho has done it in 2017/18, 2nd place at 81 pts, the only time post-Ferguson. Sure is a tall order. Let's break down what 76 pts entail: If you are allowed to lose against the top 3 teams, Cheaty, Liverpool and Chelski, plus 2 loses for whatever situations, that's 8L. Mourinho did it with 25W-6D-7L - 81 pts. It means TH has to at the minimum achieve 76pts with 23W-7D-8L. Can it be done? Yes, but it will also mean that other than the top 5: Cheaty, Liverpool, Chelski, Spursy, Arsenal, that you are allowed to drop 38 pts, (there's only 30 points to drop), and you win against all the rest, you still get 28W-0D-10L, 84 pts, which was basically what Mourinho did.
