I wouldn’t really mind if Six didn’t appear in Little Nightmares III, but I think it would be cool if we eventually see her again at some point in the franchise. I’m very curious to see more of the horrible force she became after taking The Lady’s power.

Could be a good theory we know little nightmares games never have a good end so may be the end is you have to kill six or she kills one of the two
If LN 3 takes place after LN 1, I would imagine Six would appear as The Lady, time is twisted in the Nowhere after all so who knows how fast aging takes place.
You know what will be cool ? Six met low and alone and they are going to pale city Six because of her soul hunger curse problem which she may think can be fixed in the tower where she recieved the curse in the first place,low and alone just....acompaning a new friend Then the final boss will be Mono/thin man.which after defeating him will make him turn into his child form(Six did so why not).We can see some trust problems between mono and six which will be fixing slowly during the gameplay And Now we get 4 different characters to play with different abilities which can bring many interesting scenarios/events/puzzles
That wouldn't make sense. Moni is on a temporal paradox or a timeloop more often used as a term. If the thinman you defeated as Mono (that's also him) never met the Six of his time again then the Mono you played with wouldn't either. Imagine every time you play LN2 the thinman you met is the previous Mono from the last time you finished the game, that's how it works, Mono is stuck on an infinite replayed video, you can't add more of his story, his story is full circle, got it, full circle since is...uh, comedy=come die.
God I hope they show the backstory of mono

Imo, I wouldn't feel too bad if Six didn't appear. Her ending was pretty satisfying to me. It concluded her torment. Although, there are chances she would appear. TSON The Lonely way Shows SMG remembers Six (even tho she didn't necessarily appear and hardly even mentioned), and when Bandai was asked about Six or Mono, they just made their way around the question. A thing Marvel did with No Way Home too with the return of Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire iirc

I like this theory! It’s fun seeing her story intertwine with the others. A DLC would be perfect.
For the record, Six isn't evil. I wasted four months of my life last year going on a deep dive into her character, analyzing every thing she does, paying close attention to her body language, and reading what the devs themselves have said about her. She's not evil, she's misunderstood. I wrote an entire blog about it.

I would say she has done some evil things (revenge against the Bully, Mono and the Guests are pretty evil things, because she killed them for her own pleasure and satisfaction). I see Six as someone who turned a evil overtime, but a very, *very* understandable evil. Anyone in her situation (myself included) wouldn't have done things differently. And of course, I wouldn't say she's worse than the Monsters.

I think in little nightmares 3 there might be six as a main villain. i am not sure. but in trailer that mirror scene the black smokes came out that means only thing six can be there. but as a villain i guess? because when six defeats the lady six got her evil powers which is black smokes. in the trailer the mirror scene has also the black smokes so yeah thats what. As much as it feels appropriate for Six to factor into a new game in this franchise, one thing to keep in mind is that LN3 is being developed by a new studio and creative team. The lead writer of the previous two games is presumably not returning. Given that, even while it may be disappointing, perhaps it would be better for a new creative team to just tell a separate story that takes place in the Little nightmares universe.
Six not being LN3 is like Telltale's The Walking Dead.... (speaking chronologically) From not playing Clementine To playing Clementine And then.....not......Clem for some reason, not even related

ok so if my theory is correct than very little nightmares is the begging of the lore so the chronological order of the story of little nightmares is very little nightmares and little nightmares 2 and little nightmares 1 and then maybe little nightmares 3 and so that would mean six is a monster because of what we know the kids in the world of little nightmares grow up to just become monsters and maybe we will have mono on our side since he wants revenge on six he can maybe teleport to us and would be an ally now the lady although eaten by six she is maybe still alive just in the giant baby body in the trailer because in little nightmares 1 there was an eye i thnk controlled by the lady the eye turns you into stone if it looks at you same thing for the baby if it looks and we definetly will see more monsters after the baby and 4 or even 5 monsters/enemies and we will meet many kids other than low and alone that might help us defeat six by sacrificing themselves and the ending of the game we might escape the nowhere with a happy ending of not losing each other

I’m sure there will be some cameo of Six. And maybe some other characters that are yet to be revealed for potential DLC or future titles. Maybe even past antagonists.
i was thinking a lot about where ln3 could take place in the timeline and there are two characters that appear in the same comic series that resemble low and alone pre apocalyptic and im talking about spoon girl and the black children from monos comic i think these could be low and alone. So if thats true than the mirrors found in the residence dlc could be the ones low and alone travel through and the one there could be a gateway to a new realm in the spiral (the maw) so if that is correct that means ln3 takes place after the second and before the first so that would make the timeline vln,ln2,ln3,ln1 and i think the sounds of nightmares could take place either one spot infront or behind ln3 because the chapter 4 noone visits a carnival probably the same one in ln3 since supermassive wrote the episode so it may also take place along side ln3 like the dlc with the original.

I don’t think we need to see six but we very well may see her again. I have a theory with the music and how six’s theme is used at the end of the trailer for LN3 whilst the whole music is new. In the sounds of nightmares, Six’s theme was used once and Noone was singing it. I’m pretty sure that was it. But the theme was new. LN1+2 contained the theme heavily when Six was around and this hint at her theme may hint at her return.
the assumption that this 'll follow a heros journey is flawed, it's clear that the current direction of the series is towards it being a tragedy in the traditional sense, so it's probably worth looking at it as a "villans journey"
I think it's very fair to say that NOTHING about this franchise is "clear." Call me an optimist, but I certainly don't think of Six as villainous.

Little Nightmares suffer with the same syndrome as Darksiders. The story never moves forward... It's always a prequel of the prequel of the prequel.. More questions than answers because the story is always the ending of LN1 but with more lore behind.

Shame it's the Dark Pictures team doing LN3, I'm not saying there bad but different devs like to do there own spin and I'm just not feeling the tone with this one. Egg on my face if I'm wrong because I want to be.
I think that's a fair viewpoint, man. I think Supermassive is a good team to hand it off to in the very least. I DO feel like Little Nightmares did a good job of simply and explicitly framing what makes them good. Hopefully Supermassive doesn't miss such a slam dunk they have set up for them by making huge changes to the world/gameplay. On the flip side- they were able to work on LN2! We'll see soon enough! six no time loop and the lady. six just child need to escape from monster. in very little nightmare(android)(first story little nightmare) six is trapped in the nest and escape with Raincoat girl(yellow jaket before six) and six help raincoat girl to fight boss.but raincoat girl falls with the last boss of very little nightmare and dies together. and six boarded a small wooden ship and went to the scene of Little Nightmare 2. that's why six is no time loop like mono. story little nightmare: Very little nightmare>little nightmare 2>DLC(the depths , the hideaway, the Residence)>Little nightmare 1

I have a theory on Mono. So in the comic 6 where Mono is an orphanage, a figure (that is not the THINMAN) starts kidnapping the childrens. Then, Mono is all alone in a room. He hides in a TV and then… the screens fades to black. The only thing we can hear is his bones and body getting crushed and then he gets killed. My theory goes that, Mono’s true power isn’t teleporting trough tvs, he’s true power is that he skipped death and survived as a glitch. And I have proof to back up this theory !!! In the signal tower, when we go next to a door, we can see under his disguise and we see him as a glitch also, his eyes are pitched black unlike Six’s or other characters. When he calls out for Six, he starts glitching out… he is literally killing himself to save his only friend. But in the end, he always falls. (Also another proof is that he never needs water, or food)

I don't think that she be in the 3 game at all especially after what she did to poor Mono. I think that the fans hate her guts too much now for what she did to him
id really love to see six again because shes my favorite character, but given how different LN3 looks, i dont think she will be there. or at least, she wont play a significant role like she had before. she might get an easter egg but as far as her story goes, its pretty much over. and tbh, im happy leaving it where it is. given what ive seen happen in the past to other characters, im an advocate for not stretching things out.
