y that match sucked, France just scoring one time and then they just went full defensive mode. was painful to watch.
Meunier the right back or right wing-back back then was suspended. So instead of bringing a like for like replacement, they (coaches) changed to a bizarre formation that included dembele, not knowing what his role was. It unbalanced the whole team. But belgium were fortunate against brazil with casemiro being suspended as well.

Some good Premier League-level talent in this Scotland side, specifically the midfield. Bad defence, abysmal attacking play. I had high hopes for this campaign, and a loss against Belgium isn't necessarily a surprise but Christ, give us something to be excited about here.

Our youth system is all wrong we are producing robots, look at the Belgians everyone of them comfortable on the ball and able to pass it forward, instead of throwing trophies at kids for winning leagues we should be teaching them skills winning comes with being good with the ball and passing it well and not fearing to try something different instead of pass and run then pass it sqaure all the time

Let's face it our game is dire. No manager in the world could get our current crop to a Finals. We are just not producing the talent anymore. Its not that long ago the great sides at Leeds, Liverpool, Man U, etc., were awash with Scots, but no more. Our domestic lge is dominated by players from the lower reaches of the EFL, save a few class acts at Rangers and Celtic. Dalglish, Johnstone, Bremner, Lorimer, Baxter, Jordan, Law:- names that once terrified the opposition. Will we ever see their likes again ?
