1972 the year I first got married we were on our honeymoon in Austin,Texas in my new sportscar. Driving along the highway it seemed like we were alone with this number one song playing on the radio. Just out of college we had the world by the tail. Then life happened. Three kids and grandkids later. I lost my first love about 15 years ago. The emptiness still fills my heart. Now as I listen to this wonderful song again my mind drifts back in time to a happier night so long ago. I look across to the blonde hair green eye beauty and realize what a wonderful woman I had. Kat, I will again be with you soon. Thank you for a beautiful life..

Hi Peter. Does he still sing music. The 9/11 really got me. I was born 9/11/60 so every year I will always remember that day. It hurts alot knowing that so many people died because of some asshole sorry but I have a little temper always sticking up for the people who need it and deserve it I'm in a nursing home because of COVID-19 and I've been here for a year and a half. I got a heart disease and in a wheelchair I'm getting better but I want out. It's time. Someone who really sick can have my bed. Ya some did. I heard a few on my radio station KVSF In Santa Fe NM. I miss all these songs all these artists were amazing. The one song that had me was (all they wanted to say). I'll remember that day for the rest of my life cuz it happened on my bday I had turned 41 that day. I feel so bad for all the people we lost and the families that had to go through losing their loved ones. All I can say is Gilbert is amazing too bad we don't really hear music that has so much meaning anymore. Don't you 💯 👍

“Alone Again, Naturally” was a HUGE HIT in the mid 70’s. The most beautiful sad song ever! I remember listening to it on am radio as a kid almost once an hour. I still remember the lyrics all these years later. Then as sudden as he appeared, he disappeared. Thank you, Gilbert.

I have always believed that Gilbert was a top-class songwriter, excellent singer, i also liked his gentle manner. This comes from someone who never went to see a Gilbert O Sullivan concert but I plan to do that the next time Gilbert plays a concert to my town, I was and still am a hard-rocking music lover of the great Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher and many other most brilliant bands

This is one of those songs I remember wen I first got my drivers license. Sneaking cigarettes, picking up my cousin then driving to school, well almost; ended up making it to the pool hall. Great memories of the summer of '72. On a side note, who could forget the anthem of that summer. I'll give u a hint, his name was, Alice!!

Hi Peter. Does he still sing music. The 9/11 really got me. I was born 9/11/60 so every year I will always remember that day. It hurts alot knowing that so many people died because of some asshole sorry but I have a little temper always sticking up for the people who need it and deserve it I'm in a nursing home because of COVID-19 and I've been here for a year and a half. I got a heart disease and in a wheelchair I'm getting better but I want out. It's time. Someone who really sick can have my bed. Yes it did, back in 1972 and beyond Gilbert o'sullivans 2 hits were always on the Radio,in america "Clair & naturally", WHAT Radio were you listening to Hong Kong Radio.
Ya some did. I heard a few on my radio station KVSF In Santa Fe NM. I miss all these songs all these artists were amazing. The one song that had me was (all they wanted to say). I'll remember that day for the rest of my life cuz it happened on my bday I had turned 41 that day. I feel so bad for all the people we lost and the families that had to go through losing their loved ones. All I can say is Gilbert is amazing too bad we don't really hear music that has so much meaning anymore. Don't you 💯 👍

“Alone Again, Naturally” was a HUGE HIT in the mid 70’s. The most beautiful sad song ever! I remember listening to it on am radio as a kid almost once an hour. I still remember the lyrics all these years later. Then as sudden as he appeared, he disappeared. Thank you, Gilbert.

I have always believed that Gilbert was a top-class songwriter, excellent singer, i also liked his gentle manner. This comes from someone who never went to see a Gilbert O Sullivan concert but I plan to do that the next time Gilbert plays a concert to my town, I was and still am a hard-rocking music lover of the great Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher and many other most brilliant bands

This is one of those songs I remember wen I first got my drivers license. Sneaking cigarettes, picking up my cousin then driving to school, well almost; ended up making it to the pool hall. Great memories of the summer of '72. On a side note, who could forget the anthem of that summer. I'll give u a hint, his name was, Alice!!
