I think I finally understand why everyone was saying that summer felt weird....it’s almost like we were preparing ourselves for this summer in a way at least for me I felt like I was having the best summer of my life I got to see a bunch of friends, I went to a bunch of fun places and I was with the people that I love most now we’re gonna be stuck inside or around our neighborhood not hanging out with friends or doing a bunch of fun things or going on strange adventures with our friends

There were some major setbacks for me in summer ‘19, and my self esteem was completely destroyed, but besides that, I remember having late car rides after having KFC with my friends singing all these songs, and when I was allowed to hug my friends, and when i had sleepovers that ruined my sleep schedule for weeks, swimming in the pool with friends on hot days, all while listening to these songs. i was ready for 2019 to be over, and I thought 2020 would be a better version of 2019, but I was VERY VERY wrong.

im almost 15 and i gotta say ill remember '19 forever, it was so fun, i know a lot of people hate it but when you are a kid it just hits different. goin on field trips at summer camp, hearing the songs play in the radio of the van that carries us to our location, being by the pool, winning our summer camp award for the most points, going on the school field trip in december and sleeping in the cabin (6th grade field trip dk if everyone has that but it was fan af). All these songs are imprinted into my brain heat pressed.
