In pursuit of some good vibes Callum returns to the track to witness a huge summer workout from his teammates in Cambridge. The session consisted of a 3km rep followed by 20x300m ... big volume, quick reps!
This video also includes an update on the injury and a preview of what is coming on the channel! Enjoy :)

The cut at 1:40 got me in stitches 😂😂😂
hahaha
When I was injured I turned to coaching to help stay positive about returning to running. That was 3yrs ago. Back to running and racing. And still coaching.
Love to hear it!

Appreciate it!
I had the podium corn dogs! they were so good!
Elite food
Valuable advice and support…. “I don’t have a clue sorry! It’s like kids crèche! No I’ve given out false information 😂
🤣
Great video mate. I’m struggling a bit and this totally got me fired up. 27 seconds for 100m with one and a half legs is impressive
Haha great to hear it!!
loved this vid!
🙌🏻
Love it!!!!!!!
🤝🤝 thank you
Great video. Genuinely very funny.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video at usual, would you be able to do something about how to pace each race 800-5k I think it’d help your audience a lot. Cheers
The short answer for every event other than 800 is to pace it as EVENLY as possible, if you are trying to run a PB. For 800m I’d always recommend the first lap is a touch faster.
@the.distanceproject I know positive splitting is fairly standard in 800m running but do you know what the rationale is for that physiologically? Or is it as much psychological that it's very difficult to make yourself pick it up on the 2nd lap off an already hard pace?
Did a 3k and 800 last night having not raced track in 24 years. Won't be waiting as long do it again 😅
well done!
Great stuff. Who was the Hoka athlete who wanted a pint?
Tune in next week to find out 🤠
Have you done anything different with your nutrition for recovery?
video coming on this sometime next month! some small changes :)
@@the.distanceproject great! Looking forward to it? Would also love to know how/if you translate bike volume/mileage/sessions to running (i.e. 30 mins on bike = x mins/miles running?)
Anyone know who the unknown guy is? He looks really fast
🤣🤣🤣🤣 fantastic bloke with better KZhead comments
Dunno mate looks washed though
idk he seemed a bit narpy, probably a one rep wonder caught on camera
What's that track with the catchy guitar hook though??
Good question
