Poor Wanda. I always stub my toe on furniture. Thank goodness I don't have something giant chasing me in my party dress. 😂

My wife just told me (she's a DVM) that an Ostrich at the zoo (Nashville) broke it's leg. And she and other vet staff, were able to repair it, with a good outcome. She said it was a clean break, in the lower extremity. What they did, was use screws and animal super glue to repair the break. Then they did put on a cast for 2 weeks. Then switched to a soft cast with rods as support. Ostriches are relatively mellow animals per se. They kept the Ostrich in a medium size holding area. As well as, kept it sedated. Not knocked out. And it worked. The screws and animal super glue is what aided in healing a bit faster than normal. When I say animal super glue. In which there is a super glue you can use on humans. How it works is you extract a certain enzyme and protein from the animal or humans blood. Add a clotting agent. I use this means quite a bit (on human) in the intestines. We create the glue right in the operating room. Only takes a few minutes. Hope this was helpful if any of you were curious about the aforementioned subject matter. I could've gone into more detail. However, I'm exhausted and just want to relax and watch some vids.

Our Wanda was having so much fun teasing Carl showing him her party dress then taking off running. Dang the luck of hitting the fence. I think she was glancing over her shoulder to make sure Carl was still behind her. That was a heck of a crash !. Poor baby😢. She'll be fine. Probably more hurt that you locked the gate so Carl can't come play doctor with her now 😂. Great video Leater❤

Oh Poor Wanda! I was surprised she was moving so fast with her leg issues! She zigged when she should have zagged!😮 She looked like she was enjoying herself. I hope her exsisting leg problems don't flare up. She did hit that gate/post pretty hard. Poor girl. ❤

Lester, you are the owner and the caretaker of the animals. Blows my mind that people don't think clearly. I am almost 60 and I know what happens to farm animals if injured badly by just watching Bonanza, Little House, Heartland and every Western I sat through my entire life. I guess a lot of people aren't Western tv watchers. Plus a little common sense add in too.

Wanda scared me glad she seems alright. She sure lost a lot of feathers. In Therapy, we would call Gary a functional ambulator he’s able to walk, but he hast to compensate for a bad leg. To me It looks to be more muscle and ligament involvement. He has significant atrophy on that leg. If he was in significant pain he wouldn’t walk around as much. (My opinion).
