It's very rare to see an employer's family and nanny relationship last that long. You can see the immeasurable happiness within them. Iba talaga ang pagmamahal ng isang ina especially kung Pilipina sya ganun din ang pag-aalagang naipakikita nya kahit ibang lahi ka pa. Filipino nannies, caregivers and nurses are the best. Instilling good manners is utmost importance the reason why the Singaporean bride is very grateful to have a Filipino nanny like her. An act of kindness makes a ripple effect.

Although we are proud of the kind of love and care she provided the SG family, you can only think but also wonder that that love and affection could have been directed to her growing children in PH. I hope someday there will be enough decent paying jobs in PH so that no Filipino family will ever have to experience this sad plight of lacking enough parental love and care while growing up.

I cried a bucket watching this coz I remembered my loving Yaya. My childhood memories was always with her who have loved and cared for me no matter what I do. I always hang out with her trying to be obedient coz she was so kind hearted. Being separated from my Yaya was so heartbreaking for me for it seems that I lost the support I had for so many years. I still miss her so much...I'll never forget her and the way she loves me.

As someone who still has a helper at home and we even dont call her "Yaya", this is touching. She's been with us since we were kids and she's already family to us. With out realizing it, I'm crying! This reminds me so much on our house helper who was also Filipina 25/30 years ago. Her name was Rose, and she was the most gentle person in the world. It was her loving nature toward myself and sister that makes me miss her the most. Thinking back, I never realized how much she sacrificed! She had kids in the Philippines when she worked for us. If, I ever see her again I, would give her the world.

My mother was with same employer for 27 years in HK, they treat her as family and until now they continue to communicate and support her. They never fail to send cards on Xmas and on her birthdays. She misses them a lot. I hope one day, just before the curtains down, they’ll be reunited. She’ll be the happiest person if it happens.

Both parties are so lucky- the singaporean family for having a loving, loyal and supportive nanny, and the nanny for having a kind, loving and generous amo for 27 years. A very inspiring story.
This brought tears to my eyes. Been living and working in Singapore for more than 15 years now and I can truly say that majority of Singaporeans are kind-hearted people and have very good upbringings. Like this family featured here. You can easily tell that they have good morals. God bless them and the people of Singapore. And to my kababayan yaya, mabuhay po kayo. You bring honor to us all.
