  • No Melee Weapons or BFV Pre-oder weapons. No easter egg reload except for MG 08/18 wow such a clickbait lolol This may be my best and my favorite video of all time Also the term ''Submachine gun'' was never used in WW1. It was either ''Maschinenpistole''(German) or ''pistolet-mitrailleur''(French) Well the french still calls the SMG ''pistolet-mitrailleur'' but actual term ''SMG'' was used after Thompson released his Thompson M1921. You're never gonna get another opportunity to spotlight weapons like that, and it still fits roughly into the setting. CoD Black Ops did a similar thing, including guns from the 70s to 90s despite the game taking place in the 60s. It can work if it's done well.

They don't give an extended mag to a bolt action rifle, load a clip into a sniper that has a scope ontop of it or load a 10 bullet of smle in one clip.

  • Interesting facts: Suppressors were available since 1902, and the 10-A shotgun was supposed to be the successor of the M1897, with the only real difference being that it ejected its shells from the loading slot on the bottom so that it could be more reliable in the trenches. Otherwise, it only had a 5 round tube and could also slam fire. Also, it is theoretically possible to pop out the Mosin's clip while stripping them into the gun, but in practice it rarely happens.

    @no-legjohnny3691@no-legjohnny36913 жыл бұрын
    • About the 1897, the Model 10 was Remington’s competitor to the Winchester, with its main improvement being the sealed reciever versus the Winchester’s exposed hammer and bolt. Not a successor, but a competitor. Winchester’s response was the Model 1912, which is basically an 1897 with a bolt that now does not extend out of the receiver, and an internal hammer. I have one, it’s slick. It does not eject downwards like the Remington, however. The Model 10 would later evolve into the highly successful and venerable Ithaca 37.

  • Another minor error from the uploader: the Auto 5's bolt release is actually correctly pressed to insert a fresh shell in the magazine after the shotgun's magazine has been emptied. The frames between 13:22 and 13:23 correctly show the action done by the player's character. Unfortunately, this is only done for the first shell. Another side-note for the Auto 5: it could be speed loaded by actually loading a shell directly into the magazine and the bolt will immediately load it in the chamber. This feature was added much later, starting predominantly from the late 1953, early 1954. LE: At 6:00 - Not necessarily, the bolt of the C96 can also be released by pulling the hammer down which actually locks the bolt slide in place. This is true for striper clips that weren't originally made by Mauser. At 22:34, the Madsen MG was originally depicted in-game as being closed bolt and being capable of having 30+1 rounds with the one in the chamber. This was fixed in a patch and now the weapon correctly has 30 rounds in the chamber, as it is an open-bolt gun. 28:27 - The player loads a 5-rounds stripper clip in the Gewehr 98, although the weapon still has one round in the chamber. Also, the empty stripper clip can be automatically ejected when closing the bolt(this was a feature implemented in all Mauser rifles), although there is nothing wrong with the player flicking the stripper clip away. Ironically, this feature is correctly implemented for the M1903 Springfield bolt action rifle, which indigo-copied Mauser's action design and actually had to pay royalties for the german manufacturer. All of the Tanker/Pilot semi auto carbines/pistol carbines are also available to the Support class. Considering the clip was made in 2021 and the last major update for the game was during the fall of 2018, this video has a bit of inaccuracies as well.

  • 36:05 The player doesn’t cycle the bolt in this reload, they only move it forward enough to pull it back, because pulling the bolt back with enough force causes the transporter to rise. In an empty reload they do cycle the bolt, as doing that causes the round in the magazine to be pushed out onto the transporter. Also in the non-empty reloads, the player ejects the live round in the chamber so they end up loading one extra round to compensate.

  • I think the prototypes makes this game times more interesting and fun . I love seeing all the weird systems countries came with, even if the gun wasn’t used, 2 of them were made or didn’t exist at the time(technically the thompson 1919 fits because the game is set in ww1 and russian revolution). This is the reason i love cod ww2 as well, sure sounds are what they are and models/fire rates aren’t accurate but i loved to see all these obscure weapons.

    @WorkInProgressX@WorkInProgressX3 жыл бұрын
    • I dont even see point of talking about 'this fits in this timeline' because that gun is AMERICAN, and its a prototype. also this game is just a fun run and gun game, not a game like verdun or tannenberg in the first place

  • 5:48 bolt can be locked back due bolts cutout for the hammer. And thats why when clip removed it don't return forward for itself. When C-96 firing bolt moves so fast and stops only by mag follower. When you manualy slide it back bolt stops by hammers tension in cutout. I'm so sorry for my bad english.

  • One thing that should’ve been pointed out is how the M1903 Springfield is the only weapon to have a magazine cutoff for single feeding. I legit didn’t know about that until Tim from Military Arms Channel did a video on the Springfield, so I had to see if BF1 pulled that off. Sadly it was just for the K bullets and not for the standard ammo 😪.
