  • That was great. Thanks, Layne. I was surprised you didn't show the initial blocking in of the clouds (considering the title of the video) but I think I can work out what you did (apart from the lighter tones at the horizon). I wonder how this would be done in watercolour.

    • Thanks! Yes, titanium white. Also, cadmium yellow deep, ultramarine blue, cassel earth, and transparent earth red and/or some earth color.

  • ‘how to paint clouds…’ First, get a brush with a Really long handle.
