In today's episode, I begin my day by fighting some clans over at Sinkhole. Afterwards, I try out the new Sacred Hunt event and finish off the day by exploring the new combat changes that the new chapter 4 update has brought to PvP side of Conan.

I love how players run at you like they are the best fighters on the server. You hit them twice and they try and run away LOL...
I mainly play PvE, but do a speed run in PvP servers once per chapter. I like the stamina delay and the removal of the free attack from rolling thrust, also bringing back the old attack where you face is godsent, I have no idea what stupidity possessed the team to remove it. On builds, I always play with grit 20 for steel thewed, so I don't need to rely on armour for protection, only buffs. Finally, so the sacred hunt, I went as far as you, the only issue I had was how long the fights lasted and that the final boss had a very large area of effect, I could only get two attacks when he did his charge, if I narrowly missed the hit rarely three attacks with the impaler, not enough to stack a gouging. The mammoth for me did a charge at got stuck in a rock with its butt sticking out, so I kept impaling without it being able to move :D The other two bosses were to easy, but the amount of hits they needed to die, made not want to try any of the boss fights again. It is also weird that the event was removed in less than two weeks. Oh! and the new inventory management is inferior to the old (removed precise split initially, then put it back in a buggy way with the quickfix, sorting changing custom order is very stupid, and the new categories are quite useless, while the quick sort when having a repairable item selected has the same hotkey with repair). The thrall management changes, should the bugs be fixed have potential. Again, mostly PvE perspective. For PvP that I will commit to in June, I am thinking 20 grit (steel thewed), 20 vitality (glutton) and either 20 strength or agility, depending on the legendaries I get, before finishing the game.

Keep them coming please :D P.S I was expecting some cool new boss to fight but nah, its old models and textures.... Never anything new Also about the double jump, its darn useful only if its no longer bugged. The double jump perk had been broken since .... forever... It makes you not being able to jump or climb at times. If its fixed by now; sure its useful. If its not fixed; dont use it.

Nice! I use double jump now, but I don’t really see any value. I get to defensive, constantly trying to heal up. I’ll try the grit-thing you suggested. I think that would fit my play style better. And, yes.. it’s hard to stop rolling into an attack! Anyways, I really like to see the end of the “age of rolling”.
Exactly, double jump does make you think too defensively. It's only fun for doing parkour while scouting. Let me know how the the grit build works out for you.

Yeah, it’s a shame the previous server died. There were some good fighters on that server.
I wish I wanted to play right now, but the updates just killed this game for me. Love watching u tho, seeing you improve and become such a good pvp fighter is fun. GG
I haven't played much Conan either since April 2nd. Started playing another PvP survival game... starting out as a noob once again. Video will be out Sunday. :)

Wow, your still winning fights. Thought daggers and q lock is the meta now near the bow. The star metal axe has a bigger hitbox?
Haha I’ve played through the worst dagger spamming era (pre-Age of War), it’s still not as bad as back then. Not sure what the new meta is now though, last time I played Conan was April 2nd.
@Zelosykes Baal Peter's loadstone is doing Stam damage. Great to Stam lock an opponent and you can kick.
What do you think about pvp in this new format without whirling bots?
Sorry about you having to switch servers mid-series due to hackers. Unfortunately, in this game, you can't throw a sick on Official without hitting a nest of hackers anymore. You should give Private Servers a try. There's a LOT more PvP, almost no hackers, and you get to play Conan the way it was meant to be played. You'd be amazed how much this game changes when there's actual admins who care about their server in charge.
Thanks for the suggestion. Private servers might be only way to play Conan nowadays. Officials are ruined.

No I haven’t because I haven’t played much since the release day of Chapter 4.
@@Zelosykes it's awful lol. It's so frustrating it's almost game breaking for me. I can only imagine how infuriating the bug must be for the pvp side of the house.
Yeah, Conan has been a mess lately, that’s why I haven’t been playing it. Been playing DayZ instead. So many good games out right now. V Rising officially released today as well. And Soul Mask coming out next month too.
Any tips to improve in pvp
Most important tip is to practice fighting as much as possible. Being able to defend yourself against anyone will make a huge difference in your PvP journey. 1v1 sparring sessions with a friend or random players on a server was my main way of practice. I would practice for hours and hours just trying to improve my PvP. Once you start winning most of your fights, you’ll know the training is paying off. It’ll take some time, but just gotta keep training. Hope that helps!
Also, learn to fight without using q-lock. It’s more difficult, but more rewarding in the end cause you know you’re the one winning the fights, not the auto aim.

How is it that you don’t get frostbite up north when naked and with no spicy food?
I used the cheap fiber armor to get up to the temple, it’s good enough to keep you warm, just pop some cheap aloe potions when you start losing health. Once you’re at the temple, I didn’t have any temperature issues fighting the mammoth naked.
Not really on the topic, but usually build my most important base at the ‘cold spot’ just north of stargazer ridge (down in the valley). I avoid raids by anyone not equipped for the cold. I use an “exploit” to be able to build there before I have the access to high end armour myself. One of the previous battle pass had as its first reward the barkeepers armour, that you can craft without an armorers bench. It has a high cold insulation value. Always available, provided you have som leather.
I started a new run on 1540. Absolutely no clue what the meta is but it feels like they destroyed the great axe.

Hi buddy, why do you not play on private servers? You are a PvP player, why waste your time on official servers? Come to the Darfari/Crom server where there are many hardcore PvP players.
I have avoided private servers due to all the rules and not wanting to deal with admins abusing their power.
I will rather live with the cheaters on official than the admins on many (not all!) private servers. Not because they are explicitly unfair. Mostly because most of them are very protective of their long time “patrons” and sometimes seems to make up rules as they go. It’s. My main problem is that it usually is a very static environment. Official are on the other hand very consistent. I have som exemptions though when it comes to private server. Servers with admins that are dedicated to a specific concept are often the best. I used to play on a server that had regular wipes and a low respawn level of resources. That made for very interesting play-troughs. You had to put in some serious effort to get ahead at the beginning of the wipe and you had to do what you could to make good use of the resources you had gathered to try to dominate the server - or at least to survive until the next wipe.

Yeah, it is, unfortunately. If the bugs and cheaters were gone, this game could easily be one of the best survival games up there with Rust and DayZ.
@@Zelosykes I love Rust, although cheaters are a big problem there as well. It really is what keeps me away from Conan, also it seems raiding is staked against raiders with how easy it is to repair and the short raid window.
They should make maps that are build around Objective pvp or somthing, like Counter Strike or World of Warcraft Battlegrounds, my fustrations are higher than ever on the current state of the game as a solo. I lost 20 kits in 1v3's during this week, I never find any 1v1 or 1v2s ... Keep up ur videos! I love em!

Haha, I restarted on 3 different servers for this series. This series has been rough to record. On the bright side, I finally found another PvP survival game that I’m enjoying. First episode coming next Sunday!
