In reality I spent every seminar with half an hour of avoiding eye contact while other students answered questions, so I could get a grasp of what the seminar was even about. After that, I started asking very specific questions to fill in the blanks, which made it seem like I had read the whole text and was being critical about it xD

  • My sister-in-law is in her final year, and we were all sitting down with beers the other night when someone threw a hypothetical law question her way. Man, I was so happy when she said, "It depends..." I was like, Oh girl you're a real lawyer now! I would 100% get her a LegalEagle "It Depends" magic 8-ball as a graduation present.

  • Here in my country people have to work for a year in a legal aid clinic and most law students work as paralegals during law school, to avoid the " I don't know sh*t about f*ck phenomenon". As a physician with five years of clinical experience *before* graduation, I agree with this approach.
