  • I just bumped into this episode accidentally whilst having a break from my painting a landscape. Gosh, I felt my father is back, my brother is back ,my best is back and my soul mate is out there though I had no idea who Madhvan was. The way he brought our asian values, our understanding of human condition, respect and love for our elders, that innocence, comradeships, love for adventure but with a sense of your own cultural identity ingrained instilled throughout younger days, myriads of specific details some are so minute may be even trivial yet so significant he just connected with one's most innermost values even one didn't know one had deep down! I went back to my poetry writing immediately after this as it gave so much joy and brought back all wonderful memories about my past! I have to meet this Madhvan guy though I live in the west at the moment! Of course Ranveer is such a great podcaster ,thank you and congratulations on your award too. Madhvan , I called him a brother now nothing else will fit his soul. Wonderful . Thank you ❤❤both.

    • 22:27 Almost today's child here. Right now I'm not a child, was a few years ago. A 2000s kid. Its a perspective thing. As I heard from this pod, I basically did everything a 90s kid used to. Kids from 2008 onwards have become the type of kids that are always at home, don't socialize. Not everyone. Not right to generalize it for everyone. Yes, it happens, but can't disregard the fact that there are so many people, all my friends, my colleagues, people who are close to me. If you're refering to children, especially the ones after 2010, then you're 100% right!

I don't think it is raw, the conversation is authentic, decent civil but beautifully flowing with ease and unbelievable sensitivity from Madhvan's side, gentle honest and sincere. He just gave it all, no pomposity but such care to all of us listerners. I don't know , what a beautiful human being ,no barriers no gurumushti ❤

  • Maddy maddy.. oh oh Maddy.. RHTDM memories.. What a brilliant podcast Man.. we knew Maddy, the actor however knowing Maddy, the person was an incredible experience. What I liked the most about the conversation is that they hardly talked about movies. Parent children relationship, husband wife relationship, friends, travel, life experiences, fun, expenditures and what not.. Maddy is such an eloquent speaker.. full of wisdom.. I have always loved him as an actor but after having watched this I feel that he is a better person than an actor..

  • Such a heartwarming conversation! Growing up , Maddy was the heart throb of many young girls including me but to see him speak like a heart throb and soul mate is truly a drool worthy moment . And I say this not as a sheepish young girl but a grown up south Indian woman who feels like here is someone who knows exactly what we went through in life and also able to so eloquently and in his own inimitable sweet way say how to meet challenges ahead in life . The part that he said about keeping the inner child alive resonated so well with me as that was something my late father held on to till his passing and I hope I will be able to do the same. I was missing my soulmate father and to hear maddy speak and tackle life the way my father did or aspired to do makes me feel like my father is alive. So thank you maddy and Ranveer for this great episode and hope to see many more maddy podcasts ❤

It's hard to find the people who are like minded because of how people tend to evolve or learn different things effecting their personality and approach towards life. It's quite True that it's very unsettling.
