New country, new language and a new club with new teammates. None of which apparently matters for Frenkie de Jong who straight away has gone in and dominated for FC Barcelona, and has been by far the team's most impressive player during preseason if you ask me. Certainly still very early days, but this guy really looks like the most perfect Barça midfielder for the next decade to come, doesn't he? Btw, this is the first KZhead video I have made where I have edited in Premiere Pro (Previously Vegas Pro), so I apologize if it's not really the most advanced of stuff I have produced.

I think he is rated good. However his potential is underrated imo. If u have followed him since the beginning of last season u saw how he massivly improved in only 1 season. Imagine if he develops a better left foot and a better long pass. His potential is what should scare other teams the most

ArTiC Nessi I am following Frenkie for 3 years now. He is something special, makes all the players around him play better. Hasn’t proven anything crazy yet lol? Dominated the CL last season.
His movement , passing and calmness already makes him look like a Maestro
This player is the kind of player who can keep your midfield perfect by just his presence and his confidence. The kid is not afraid and have a strong personnality. He is not the type of player who will hide to not receives a ball while pressured, it seems like he like those situation so he can try to find the best way to solve them...Incredible! The positiveness of his presence (something Busquets is missing) is that he even tell to his teammates how to position themselves to make the game more fluid and this will be crucial espacially this season (the last one for Valverde for me) because of Valverde. Valverde is not the type of coach who can understand the game and the tactics so having someone like Frenkie in the midfield will help the whole team. Hopefully Next season Xavi come back to Barça so Puig will be definitely a part of the A team and we can dream of a midfield of De jong, Arthur and Puig. As of right now the best option would be to play Busi, De jong and Arthur/Alena in the midfield to have a perfect balance but we all know that Valverde will always choose his son Rakitic :(

On the Issue of Puig, I understand all the fuss about Him and the philosophy we have as Barca, but let's be real here. As much as we want Him to having more playing time in this barca team , Fyi we have one of the best Midfielders in the world if not the Best!. So for a young player like Him I'll only suggest Hard work and Patience or else he goes out on loan. Because football is business.

So far , he looks to be good. The way he plays and his technique is perfect for Barca. Just let him send those through balls and passes and he will be capable for even more.
Great leadership qualities, talking to his players, dictating pace, demanding and directing passes, excellent control, touch or vision. I felt something nostalgic watching him play. Hopefully messi does not have to come back into midfield continually to create and build up play.

They never buy big profile players to win trophies. Always stick to Cruyff's philosophy. Always bring players through their academy. Doesn't matter even if they don't win consistently.
