My jaw dropped when I read the scoreline. What a fantastic performance from Scotland. I was shocked and impressed when Spain was beaten by Morocco. I am equally impressed here. Well done, Scotland.

Spain wasn’t beaten by Morocco btw. It was a draw. While, as a french and totally neutral viewer, that Scotland - Spain was a total robbery lmao. 1 penalty not rewarded to Spain, 1 red card (AT LEAST) not given to Scotland. Not only Scotland didn’t played football but they were being violent, irrespectful and started diving as soon as they were up, the ref giving them anything they wanted. An awful football game

Spain are one of the most diving, feining injury. dirty sides in history, Scotland gave them a dose of their own medicine in parts of the game and Spain were visibly triggered. When it came to playing football tonight that is by far Scotland's most comfortable victory over a top international side. It was cigars out time around the 70 min mark...Spain knew it as well...lovely stuff.

I watched the game in a Belgium bar and absolutely everybody was as shocked as me by the refereeing for Scotland. Scotland dived all game long, gave elbows punchs in the face, and managed to win a game they didn’t even played with only 25%!possession barely completing 1 pass out of 2, without a single player sent out, no penalty and only 4 yellow cards. Refereeing magic lmao. Straight robbery.

It's well established that people who have very little going on in their lives are more likely to be affected by the pursuits of other men and delude themselves that they are passionate. In actual fact they are simply void of ambition and action. Most Football fans (cheerleaders) achieve nothing in life because they delude themselves into thinking they are achieving by proxy. By the time they realise that all they've done is fund the dreams and lifestyles of millionaire sportsmen and board members, its already too late. If they had their own dreams and achievements to focus on they would be a lot less passionate about sport. Thats how it works. So my point is that being passionate about sporting events is really nothing to be proud of. It requires nothing but your money and for you to make noise. If you dont provide the money, then theyre not even slightly interested in your noise or even your very existence. Thats all they want from you. If you're reading this then please understand its not a diss, it's facts.

One of the many reasons why he should be given a squad role in United's rebuild under the Qataris. Such a unique skillset that is very crucial to be able to deploy in a tight game such as a final, where you're maybe a goal up and you need someone to make the opposition's lives a living hell in midfield, or someone to cause mayhem in the box for the opposition defence towards the end of a game.

I’ve been saying Scott is quality for years. Mourinho, OGS, Ralf Rangnick, ETH all respect Mctominay for a reason. He has a very unique skill set and player archetype not many 6’4 players are as fast or good with the ball at their feet

Tierney, Robertson and McTominay . All fighting to hold down a position at Arsenal Liverpool and Manchester United respectively and so so happy that they are proving their worth whilst wearing a Scotland jersey. Fantastic performance on the night. Every player giving everything till the last minute which is all you can ever ask for as a supporter. This team has shown us over the last few years that we can hold our own against anyone. Its only recently that we've seen consistency. Cant wait for the return leg so the boys can show that as much as the crowd at Hampden was unbelievable !!!! These lads are not going to freeze when they go to Spain. This match was a turning point. A coming of age as such. I've a smile on my face as I type this. That performance made Scotland a better place to live in this morning. Put a smile on many who had little to smile about. Scott is so much more effective as a box to box/forward thinking midfielder rather than a deep lying playmaker Edit: don’t think he’s good enough for united at this stage of his career but I think he could definitely succeed at a mid table prem team as a box to box player/number 8. Definitely not as a number 10 like Bruno.

I am not surprised at all about the victory. I lived in Scotland as well as having a SFC 1.3 coaching card and coached in Edinburgh. I could see that strong motivation, determination and discipline in each and every individual involved in football, whether they be players, coaches or members of the staff. So, no wonder about the victory! There are many talented players and I really wish the very best to the national squad also I'd also be delighted to see other great results at club level! Scott can read the ball perfectly. Most of the goals I see him scoring is of him coming from the back and getting to the ball at the right moment. People the other game were saying it's just cyprus, well now it's just spain again. Well done scott.
As a South African of Indian descent who is a fan of English football, I always get happy when Scotland wins. I feel like they have produced some of the best players over the years and their national team should start reaping the benefits of that.
