Anyone notice that in the first hand the display shows a flop of two hearts (including the ace of hearts) but when it shows the actual cards on the table it is an ace of diamonds? That actually makes a HUGE difference in the hand because there was no flush draw for Feldman and isn't as worrisome for trips or the straight.
I also noticed that
yup I was going to say
Me too.. was wondering why he was at only 7% lol
I was wondering why he was drawing dead
Noticed Feldman drawing dead on the flop but could see he had a flush draw. Didn’t realised it was a A of diamonds. Good spot.
Tom Dwan: 👁 👁 👄
😂😂😂😂
But he made more in 5 minutes than I will in 10 years.
The 9 and 10 of hearts should have won the pot if he didnt fold... Hahah

They have an ace of hearts shown when its actually an ace of diamonds.

The first hand showed an Ace of hearts in the graphic but an Ace of diamonds on the board. Makes it seem like there is a flush draw. Shitty effort by the original broadcast.

Tom Dwan was one of my favorite players to watch on Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker. Its crazy how good he was as one of the youngest guys at the tables. That was when FullTilt was at its prime.
can you explain the first hand? dwan had 3 and 5 while the community cards was 4, 8, A, 2, and K. Why did he win? a 6 was needed to finish the straight right? or does Ace count as anything ?
@@urbrt2653 yes, A2345 is a straight. A as 1
What didn’t make sense and still doesn’t make sense to me is how the guy with 9T Hearts in that hand had a 0% chance at winning in the end. Watched it 3 times to make sure I wasn’t wrong. Then he would have hit the flush and won the hand over the straight or set obviously. Someone needs to explain that one to me. I’ve been playing poker for 18 years too
@@robertmacneil2071 yes definitely there was a chance for Flush. Not sure why it's 0%
Right!? So strange. He would have won the hand in the end too lol. If I was him I wasn’t folding on the flop to either even if they showed me their cards. He had the perfect suckout hand. Terrible commentary and graphics

in my career as a poker dealer, I once dealt out pocket queens, kings, and aces in the same hand and proceeded to put one of each on the table to boot! It was an insane hand, with everyone all in

@@lazypredator6139 if the other guy had 3 aces on the flop then he had a full house surely? Not that it would have mattered.

I was at the 7 stud table at the Belagio once....I won a pot with a check raise call against a trash talker....with a straight flush.....later the very same thing happened...the guy stood up and threatened to kill me...he was escorted out of the casino...the dealers rotate every 30 minutes and it was the same dealer ...dealer said he had never dealt two straight flushes to the same player in 30 minutes!

Geller's comment "just don't raise me" was likely the tell Romanello needed when also factoring in Geller's preflop raise and subsequent check. Matusow's post hand commentary was almost as strong as the fold.
I laugh out loud every time I watch his post-hand reaction: "How do I draw tables with people like this- there are 2 million idiots out there and I gotta be with guys folding jacks full and being right" Just awesome.
Yeah thats 1 of my favorite hands ever. The final 2 in this video are legendary, especially the Harman one. But yeah theres a reason Mike is my favorite player. He's good, dangerously good. And generally he runs bad, yet still won a million dollars or more in poker tournaments several times. He's had some terrible luck like in the WPT vs Tony G, and getting 4 outered by Raymer to finish 9th. But he made multiple final tables at the main event, hell he just got 2nd place at a WSOP bracelet event a few weeks ago, hes still good.

If the worst thing can happen. It will happen.
@WonkaaVision Fuck off
Yeah, I swear (although I have no actual statistics to back it up) that every time the River determined the outcome of the hand ...... I LOST 98% of the time!!!!
@Gunner Storm NO! BEFORE the River comes out, LOTS of $$$ has been bet. THEN ... WHEN and IF the River card does decide who wins, i.e. changes the outcome from the Turn card, I swear I lose 98% of the time. No more money being bet AFTER the River comes out, of course, since I already lost. i.e. already been "All In" so everyone's are turned up. Of course, All may not be "All in", but you get what I'm talking about. But if cards down, River comes out, I think I still winning, don't know if River changed things, and then I bet more money, then most often River causes me to lose, after I had it win after Turn card. GET IT? I'm not saying the River determines it, changes it everytime, but when it does, which is often.
example: After Turn card, I have a High Straight. So bet, or call, or raise, whichever. So I have it won. Then River comes out and gives other guy a Full House so I lose. Wheareas my Straight beat his 2 pair before.
„... is a whole different kettle of Sushi.“ ... 🙈That hurts so much....
I can honestly say that my cash game improved tremendously after watching Dwan play on various TV poker shows, and showing what kind of damage can be done with any 2 cards in position. Granted I'll likely never play at those stakes, but stacking AA, KK, QQ, etc in tight 1/2 NL cash games with suited connectors in position brings me such joy =)'
And I'm here like "damn €3 for a beer😢"

Regardless of what the dealer flipped, that fold on pocket kings by O'Mahoney was such an insanely good call.
Folding kings pre-flop requires an absolute insane read, and shouldn't really be done as it loses you money in the long run. Kings gets beat by only one hand and absolutely dominates everything else. If you're not willing to go all in with kings, you're missing out on money 99% of the time.

So please tell me again how he's talking about the religious beliefs and not the genetics of 'Jewish' people. Don't be naive. Why would he not raise on the turn?
He was trying to make Masa believe he had the better hand, obviously. It takes some guts but if you look at it, it does make sense. Masa thought he had the better hand the whole time, you could tell because he kept betting. So Tom probably thought if he would bet on the river, Masa might not have called.
