That ugly plastic framed mirror is similar to the mirrors we have in our bathrooms now and one frame is cracked. I really don’t want to spend $100 (x3) for new mirrors! I don’t have all these fancy tools but I feel like I could create something decent from what we do have now. This is such a good idea! Thanks for sharing!
that nail pusher tho! I want one lol
It's such a cool tool!
Good job
A fantastic simple project. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Nicely done! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
Thank you Fred!
Nice, simple frame but well done. The care you take with something like this speaks to your level of commitment to woodworking. Did we actually see a smile at the end?
Thanks so much. Haha I'm always smiling on the inside.
Found your channel through the creatorpodcast. Love your content!
1973 is pretty old? Oh no! I guess I’m ancient! Lol. Seriously though, nicely done piece. I love that nail pusher. I’ll check out the link.
Haha old for a mirror.
hell yea
Great video, what color of the Rubio finish is that? Love the color.
I believe it was walnut.
Could be castle brown.
Dang the price of that speed square, what else does it do? Pulled a mirror out of a vanity from a house a friend was flipping, Jan. 26 1927 stamped on the back; Amarillo, TX.
Quick question-why did you wet down the wood before using the brand? I got a brand from your recommendation (Gearheart) and it’s worked well so am just curious if wetting the wood helps the final look somehow? Thanks.
It makes it more crisp. Try it out 👍

You lost me with the saw. I don’t speak that lingo 😂
Haha sorry about that.
Great video. Question: have you been happy with the Makita sliding miter saw? I want to get rid of my Dewalt because it takes up too much space.
Yea but I think I'm going to try out the new Delta cruzer soon.
What pencil do you use? It looks nice and sturdy.
Trying to remember what one I used in this video lol.
I’m always breaking leads. That one looks like it’s got a thick lead diameter.
I think I just got it at home depot.
hard maple?
It's actually alder.
Loved the video until you said smash the like button..... still gave it a like tho.
Haha yea. Not sure why that came out.
Walkers Woodworks love your videos keep making videos.
Diy my ass, he's got thousands of dollars in equipment!
But you can do it with cheaper tools...
Um yeah
Or don't? It's just a mirror frame. Not that difficult.
You can totally do it with cheap tools - just takes more time and some ingenuity
that is new not old and natural .
You wasted your money on that festool. You could of accomplished the same exact thing with a 100% biscuit joiner. But in all honesty it is not even needed on a frame like that. "Serious" woodworkers know that...
You must be a "real serious" woodworker. 🤣 🤣 🤣
I bought it for other things (mostly table bases and cabinets) but it did come in handy here. Appreciate you watching. 👍
BadAss Technologies whatever that means.
