Dad used to feed foxes sandwiches in the evening when he ate. They would eat whatever he put on the bread: bologna, ham, turkey & peanut butter. He sat at the kitchen window watching & ate while they did.🥰

Wonderful story and great ladies, human and fox. Just theorizing... If there is a next time, Camouflage the kennel? Maybe a lot of brush layered over the top? Lots of hay inside so it feels more cozy for a small mom. Looks like the kennel is great, but made for a bigger animal?

It probably got destroyed by people bulldozing their way through the forest, cutting down trees deforestation wise, though that is, of course.
That's how it happened to them this is getting more and more common with wildlife animals of the woodland forests and even birds and bears and squirrels and raccoons and all animals really actually that live underneath the ground below everyone's feet.
