The other lie is "I dropped them" forgetting to mention he picked them up & swiped the fella
That's also high on the list of highest excuses ever given to a cop.
They gonna be replaying that in the court 😂
Cop: "You didn't need them? Who do you think you are, Jason Statham?"
And the cop actually believed him. One of the cops said "Well, my guy said he pulled out his knives and then he dropped them." As if that was another version of the truth.
Nothing scarier than a random person coming at you with a weapon in their hand
mans reacted fast and with force. I would have ran very fast.
That’s a good man that cared about his friend. Being faced with a knife with no weapon in your hand is fucking terrifying. Two of my “friends” thought they were being funny CHASING me with an 8” chef’s knife because they pointed it at me and I told them to back up. They advanced with each step back I took and the kept laughing and JABBING it at me. I was behind the couch with it six inches from me while they laughed. And I was still the one that took things too seriously. I carry a knife everywhere with me now 😅

You guys really passed up the golden opportunity to title this "Knife-Wielding Man Raises Cane at Raising Canes"
If they don’t change the title to that , it’ll be a damn shame.
i demand the title get changedto this immediately.
"knife wielding man raising cane gets razed at Raising Cane's"
Yeah the current title is clickbait. there was no chaos. It was well-handled.
@@DudeWhoSaysDeez - There absolutely was chaos. That chaos happened during the whole confrontation between the perp and victims. When you have no idea of the "who, what, why, where, when, and how" of the situation you find yourself, is the definition of chaos. Human life IS chaos - self created or imposed upon us. Humans (8 Billion+ of us) overwhelmingly, do not create violence, melees or worse due to the chaos in our lives. You seem to confuse cause with affect. chaos /kā′ŏs″/ noun 1) A condition or place of great disorder or confusion. 2) A disorderly mass; a jumble. "The desk was a chaos of papers and unopened letters." 3) The disordered state of unformed matter and infinite space supposed in some cosmogonic views to have existed before the ordered universe.
That young man is awesome! He saw a serious threat and didn’t hesitate to act to protect himself and his buddy. And right after the incident he was able to give a clear and concise witness statement. I really hope he presses charges

You have to press charges!. To protect the next victim who might not be so lucky!
People don't want to go to court.
@@jkhoover people also don't want to die generally
The DA can bring charges without the victim's involvement. It's better to have the victim testify, but not necessary to move forward with charges that the state picks up, they just use the store's video, and the video of the interviews to establish the case. If the victim had to press charges, murder would essentially be legal.
I wish cops would explain this better. I got jumped a few years ago really bad and wound up in the hospital with a bunch of staples in my head - the cops found the guy, but I didn’t understand what it meant to “press charges” (I thought that since I got a few hits in, then it would mean I was in trouble too), so they guy basically got away with a slap on the wrist. I really wish I knew what it meant at the time because I DEFINITELY would have pressed.

As deranged as he is, I strangely respect his honesty 😂 "I was looking someone, I chanced it, it wasn't him. I was wrong, he dealt with it, he was better than me"
Except he claims he had empty hands and yet he slashed the kids leg.
Yeah he claimed he pulled them and dropped them then approached them bare handed. He's full of crap. He pulled them got in his face, and got dropped before he had a chance to do anything. Then he slashed the kids leg. With what? The non existent knife? 😆
He's lying through his teeth.
He makes it sound like he's an MMA fighter who lost and is giving an interview. "Yeah, maybe they were more aggressive than they needed to be, but at the end of the day, I gave it my all and, yeah, he was just better than me. I hope to face him again in another match someday, y'know?"
He wasn't honest. He never dropped those knives till the kid hit him I think.

Exactly my thoughts. Alcohol preservation. He is probably only 20.
Their drive-thru line backs up into the street and blocks traffic, basically every location I’ve seen. I get upset. I never stab anyone though.
This one here doesn't actually get backed up to the street often due to the fact they use 2 lanes (similar to cfa) and have a larger drive way leading into it. When it first opened though was another story...

Not pressing chargers on someone who almost killed you is baffling to me.
Right? He should be charged because he’s obviously dangerous and unhinged.
Have to remember adrenaline and stuff, doesn't make you think clearly. The kid has the chance to choose to press charges later when he is mentally stable

Felony assault bullshit. Even though the old guy got his ass kicked, he should STILL be charged with attempt of murder.
Ya, go for the bigger charge so that he can get off instead of going with the charge that is much easier to prove and a guarantee conviction

Wow, this asshole needs a year in jail to sober up and think about what he did. Attacking someone’s son at his place of work. That’s a damn shame. Also leave it to the cop to try and trip up the obvious victim in telling their story. 😮
They weren't trying to "trip up the victim", they cross reference things to make sure their story is true lol. It's literally how you collect evidence so that your case is stronger and the person at fault is actually held accountable rather than released on some bullshit technicality.
@slippi2476 Exactly! Lens lickers don't know any better 😂

That young man's situational awareness was spot on that night...he probably saved his buddy & himself from a a bad knife wound, or even death. In NO WAY was the attacker "pulling my knives out to drop them"...we can see that after they're in his hands he takes another step or two forward -- at that point, the young man's punch was a clear-cut case of self-defense, as knives are considered deadly/lethal-force weapons, especially when drawn/held by someone under 7 meters from you. The suspect is lucky those young men weren't armed themselves, they'd be well within their rights to shoot him in that situation. Keep your head on a swivel out in public, folks.
Employee of the month! Maybe the year!
And stuff like that
Yeah, I fully agree about the adrenaline rush masking injuries. I was in a motorcycle accident, didn't feel a thing. I noticed my knee was dislocated took my helmet slammed it into it to pop it back in, not feeling a thing. Heck, I didn't even know I'd also broken the arm that I'd used to wield the helmet until the EMTs started loading me on the stretcher. They asked me to roll over and lift my left side and that's when all the pain hits me 😅. My poor husband was doubly upset because I wrecked his bike and myself
Came for the beef, got the three piece with a soda!
Old dude been watching too many Liam Neeson movies
more like ''raising the big red machine kane'' LOL good work brother!
Omg, these poor young men not bothering anyone! I hope the victims prosecute so he cannot do this to anyone else.
Thank you for editing the multiple clips so we see a timeline narrative. That takes a lot of work
People choosing to not press charges lets the offender know there's no consequences for crimes & assures they'll do it again & next victim probably won't be this lucky.
Jordan Peterson seems to be doing well LMFAO

😂
You'd think felonious assault wouldn't be a victim dependant charge. Should be a shall arrest
I was thinking the same thing.
Wow!! The young men's statements were IDENTICAL to the video. The kid didn't even realize that he was cut until the cop searched him for injuries. GEEZUS!!
I hate the videos where people don’t want to press charges! When cops ask you if you’re “fearful for your life”? ANSWER YES! It’s part of the charging process! Yes the dude pulled two knives! Of course you were fearful in the moment 🔪 🔪 super frustrating when cops are literally trying to ask you common sense questions and nobody is getting the hint.
