@@Cazgirl-hq4hi In my defense, I'm from the US. 😁 Most of our wallpaper here is really cheap and our walls are generally made from drywall. Over the years I've grown to hate it because of the difficulty in removing it during remodels.
same, I am seeing the perks of it...what a great way to introduce color, texture, and interest into the space...I am obsess with them...price, I am still coming to terms with.....but seeing the labor and design I am understanding why its so dang expensive.
I agree. I wish she would put up some wallpaper in that horrible orange room downstairs. Something light with delicate orange flowers to match, might actually make the room bearable.

What cracked me up was his obscure scholarly reference to 'The Temple of Artemis' and 'The Lighthouse of Alexandria' ...having been a Classics major briefly ...before despaired of ever learning ancient Greek ....I found this hilarious! 😉
p.s. I think the Lighthouse of Alexandria was in ancient Egypt and was built by the (Greek) Ptolemies ...who ruled there.

one of the best things of every Sunday is when your posting arrives. It is anticipated because of the joy and admiration of your style, personalities and family interactions. What you have accomplished is something to behold. Bravi! I also wanted to comment on your video from a few weeks back. The one where both of you, Stefanie and Phillip answer questions. One question was what your favorite video was. I want to offer my favorite video. It was the one that you announced followers had showed so much concern for Benoit after his accident. My heart soared to know so many of us wanted to do something. You are so loved by all your followers and fans that you seem like family and Benoit is extended family to you. When it was announced and Benoit made it known and how touched he was, my eyes welled up with a few tears. Keep up all the wonderful impressive work that you share with us. You all are so appreciated.

Again, the use of the different genres of music here is super innovative. Imo, it also mirrors that there are multiple languages spoken by everyone in the chateau. Excellently crafted storytelling.

I really like the large scale of the Passion flower. The curling vines and distinctive leaves and the complicated multidimensional flower is really challenging to draw. Your print is truly awesome and inspirational.

There are things to see and do on the internet that will make one laugh, smile and feel good. That goes not make one an internet junkie. I love to learn about so many fascinating things and have a good laugh at other things that me feel free from the hardships of life. Nothing in life is pure black and white.

I know Phillipe speaks four languages. Do you speak other than French, Italian, German and English? I am so impressed with the talents of you two. My husband and I did a lot of that stuff too, but our house was only 150 years old. We moved it up onto a hill and onto a new foundation, tore out the lath and plaster, insulated, plaster boarded, spackled, painted, plumbed, wired, etc.
Anna you have the patience of a saint to do that lino cutting.....it looks amazing! Benoir's team have done such a superb job...they are such craftsmen...as are you Philipp🥰 Sandi x
The pesto sounds delicious. I make mine in a food processor-much easier than immersion blender. Good job, Philipp!! It’s all looking so good!

Really great to see the progress and love the design for the wallpaper. One quick tipp I give my students: these aluminium cutting rulers have a side for measuring and a side for cutting with a hard edge (often with hardened steel inlay). Using the cutting edge for cutting makes sure you don't harm yourself or the ruler. ;-)

What an absolute stare Philip.(sorry for the English spelling )..You stepped in and did those task perfectly ,as we expect from such a proffecional person ,and done with such flair and modesty.This is why we love you so much ❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻..Anna the design for your bedroom wallpaper is simply gorgeous.The design is so detailed,the drawing and transfer being the easy part,but the skill in carving it onto the Lino is incredible ,sows so much accuracy and dedication.It must make your hands ache after a while.I have done a small amount of Lino printing in the past and it hurt mine.But this is a really big piece.I am sure it will really make the room look very unique and bring colour and life into the room.Cannot wait to see it up.Sending love for you both and the girls.Keep living the dream and having fun doing it 🥰

So exciting to see the suite coming along and to see the beginning of the carving of the Lino plaque (loved the music you chose for that!). I am always so pleased to see that beautiful paint color. Always fun to see Benoit work his magic and to listen to him kibbitz with Philipp. Great to see Philipp do his level best to patch the drywall. The wild garlic (ramps?) recipe sounded wonderful. Awesome that you are making the most of the seasonal offerings of Mother Nature on your property.
I absolutely love the colour paint you chose for your dressing room ,and the wallpaper is divine. Wallpaper in many places lost its once unassailable place in decor .I believe you may have resurrected its lost position in the hearts of many discerning people who watch your website. No easy feat. I know you didn't really need practice to make perfect, but still 🎉 And Anna the wallpaper design is so luscious and magnificent! What a beautiful surrounding for a master bedroom! Just lovely. How you are a master each step of the way is quite breathtaking. Your drawing skills alone.... I love to see the grandparents when they come to visit. Hildegard seems so lovely and her pesto must taste wonderful. Good job Philipp and Anna, your Lino print is going to be perfect for the room. I loved the trim color instantly even when the men made fun of it. I used to make Lino prints when I was young but I had a manual printing press. I have a lot of framed prints from those days. I also did zinc plate etchings where I also used the printing press. With that it was more labor intensive because the zinc had to go into acid baths to create the etching. Miss those days, but I still paint in oils. Being creative is truly a gift. xx
