So I got a call for a big bus stuck to the frame. Time to pull out the winch truck and Morrvair to combine forces.

The day Matt threw Lizzie under the bus.
😂😂😂
Good thing she's a skinny lady!
and then bought her a new pair of jeans for the ones that got torn.
😂🤣😂
@@xX_Kryptis_Xx She might have gotten stuck about a-mid-ships..
Only Trevor would include “wires” to describe why the RV was so heavy. 👍
well ya gotta think, most new cars have a few miles of wiring in them, imagin how much that rv has in it being 5-6 times longer with 10 times more electrical stuff in it
A gen 7 VW Golf has 1.6km of Cabeling =1 mile of cabeling, so imagine what this big thing has... And people often don't think about the fact that copper is heavier than steel.
@@nirfz this! most people have never pulled the dash out of a modern car and seen the mess of wires !
I would not be surpriced if there are 1000lbs of electrical stuff in that thing.. full 12/24V for the vehicle part, then another 12V system for the camper? and then some 110V that runs off the generator. and chargers, solar panels? etc... its not nothing...
@@RenaxTM91 It wouldn't surprise me if it was double that either.
I think pretty much the entire Internet would love to quit our jobs, move out to Utah, and go work for Matt's. These vids literally help me keep my sanity and faith in mankind :-)
You guys know that you’re making content that Discovery WISHES they would’ve found first, right? This is studio level editing, narration, cinematography...literally everything. I am extremely impressed with how your videos have progressed. This was the best yet (that pusher...out there? 😆), and I look forward to many more 👍🏻
F the discovery channel and their garbage programming!!
That’s such a true statement. They would eat this up
On discovery it would be 90% BS and 10% content. These guys are 100% real actual shit
Will they be able to get the RV out before this super important deadline that's definitely very real and not at all made up to add some cheap extra drama? Find out after the break!
@@Deckzwabber don’t forget there has to be some drama! Lizzy and Matt get into a big fake fight....
I love the shot at 4:10. Morrvair: (roars) (disappears out of frame) (comes back)

Lizzie once again proving she’s a badass young lady and multi talented.
She is gonna be able to take her pick.
Much better than the times she forgets to put the vehicle in gear.
Lizzie is just awesome
Yeah, can we clone her? Every mans dream, a low maintenance woman.
Thirsty dudes up in here^
If that guy can roll in a $750,000-$1,250,000 coach I’m sure he can pick up the tab on a small exhaust pipe..... No way I would have charged the folks getting me unstuck for that 🇺🇸🇺🇸🤙🤙
Right! I would've been like don't worry about it. The exhaust only bent because he was reckless about where he parked his giant RV
the exhaust prob got bent by the first guys attempt to yank out - not even Matt's damage
And let us not overlook the damage done to Lizzy's pants during the recovery. That had to have cost at least as much as the exhaust pipe!
You think a million-dollar bus would have built-in recovery hooks. An idea for Matt's contract "If you are stuck amongst rocks and sand & didn't think ahead enough to have recovery hooks installed, MORR will not be responsible for damages" Eureka, in typing the MORR abbreviation, I just realized where the Morrvair got its name. Took me long enough. 🤪
What? You mess up someone else's property, you fix it. No excuses, just integrity and honor.
KZhead needs morr of this content.
ahhh that was a good one
Be safe guys, some of those larger RVs have self leveling and auto-dump suspension that will crush you without warning, something as simple as opening a door or getting out of the driver seat activates them. Using the leveling jacks can help but isn't a much better option as even at a slight angle they fail. Turning the wheel all the way left or right should give you access to the suspension in most scenarios for J hooks. Also, you can use the leveling valve in a pinch to raise the suspension and get the frame off the ground. It's definitely only a last resort method as you can damage the air ride or crush yourself if you do it wrong. At the end of the day going home safe is the first objective of every job.
Wow. Having a large RV just settle down, even a few inches, without a positive driver input seems really hazardous. Besides the hazard to people and pets, you could do damage to your rig if you stop on uneven terrain, or by stopping next to a high curb or parking chock, or stopping on a driveway incline (where the slope changes). That seems like a weird feature--wouldn't there be a switch to toggle that "off"?
@@kenc2257 typically you can disable the system but in my experience I find RVs to be less than friendly when it comes to user control. Even with the suspension completely lowered RVs are not designed to contact the ground but in certain scenarios like above I’m sure you could accidentally “kneel” on something and have a bad day.
So, a few years ago I had my diesel pusher RV, with an enclosed car trailer in tow, sunk down to the rims in soft dirt/mud. We had come to the fellow's house in New Mexico to pick up a car we had bought from him (a 68 Camaro). He had directed us to turn around in an area that turned out to be a septic field. The way we got it out was to use some boards (I think they were 2 X 8's or 2X 10's) and placed them under the levelling jacks. Then we lifted the RV up on the jacks, dug out around the wheels and put some other boards just under the wheels, facing to the rear. By alternating lifting and lowering the jacks with the boards under the wheels we managed to get it out. I'm sure it took us two or three hours, all told. It was complicated by the fact we had the trailer on and limited space between the house and some orchard trees.
Yikes
Can't hardly believe you were able to pull out that huge diesel-pusher motor home. That was amazing.
That behemoth shouldn’t be anywhere near sand
I was thinking the same, no off road tyres and I am pretty sure that RV wasn't AWD. So why would you take it on soft sand?
@@danielsellors4831 *Now the owner-driver knows* Hope he reads your advice :-) :-) :-)
Folks who acquire RVs that large should just put wheels on their houses.
@@keithnichols7926 notice that he also have huge trailer for it. He's basically towing storage unit with him.

On this episode of Matt's Off Road Recovery, the MORRVAIR goes bungee jumping.

I watch this channel for the moments of Lizzie! We all love you, Lizzie!
Love when the owner chimes in and tries to tell these guys what to do. Hey pal let’s remember who brought a non off road 15 ton vehicle into SAND. Why don’t you take a step back before you thinking too hard starts churnin smoke outta your ears😂

You are exactly right. But notice how matt never makes them feel that way. He's always super respectful and never puts the customer down
after he was prob like 'do i get a discount? you guys wouldnt of got it out without my help' haha
Hard to believe something that small could get stuck in loose sand like that.
Funny how that happens

What an impressive young woman. Respect, Lizzie.
I stopped by for some shirts yesterday and got to meet Ed, he’s even cooler in person! The corvair tires are waaaay bigger than they look on YT. Hurricane and Toquerville are both really nice, tons of beautiful homes. Hopefully I can meet the rest of the gang next time I pass through.

We were there in February, but didn't know about the channel lol! Looking forward to stopping by next time we're in the area.
Lucky for him hurricane is a long way off the beaten track, those who make the pilgrimage usually get to meet someone at least. That wouldn't be the case if they were closer to say, Salt Lake City.
I drove through last month on my way do denver. Yard was closed though :-(
The Coach owner should of said no worries on the generator pipe..
It's an insurance issue. Matt has insurance for that stuff because the coaches insurance will go after any way not to pay. Matt covers his butt from a surprise bill by getting it fixed right away.
Generator pipe is maybe $45 at Cummins, I used to be a parts guy at an RV dealership
He definitely should have. It was his idea to drive something that heavy, where he should never have gone.
If I was Matt, I would still replace it even if he said don't worry about it because I was the one that broke it. (with that said, we don't know if he did tell him not to worry about it). Also, it's not like Matt did this as a favor, he paid him for his service.

That was a serious recovery, staring Lizzie, Trevor, and Ed. Oh yeah, and the brains of the outfit, Matt. 😀👍👍👍👍👍
Trevor had an easy job but maybe the most important part of getting it out. Matt is getting his hired help experience. The first solo recovery for Lizzy will be a good video.
If anyone's curious, that thing they're trying to tow out is a diesel. They call them diesel pushers, because the engine is in the back. And tag axles because of the third axle. But the point is they're heavy, really heavy. It's probably 2.5x the weight of the other class A (bus shaped RV) you can see behind it.

The guy with the beard at 0:17 belongs in the movies. He would make an incredible character actor, great personality, looks, everything.
7:49 The montage cutaway had me laughing so hard. I never would have guessed in a thousand lifetimes that I'd ever care about some random recovery company in a different state. Now I obsess over this content like it's a TV show with awesome characters I like to watch.
Watching the MORRVAIR bounce at the end of the rope was a graphic lesson in basic physics.
5600lbs weight x 120% (rope stretch adds 20% energy) = 6700lbs pulling energy... versus 15? tons bellied in deep sand= 30 tons weight to overcome/lift up, plus drag of tag axle = ? tons.... As Ed said, getting it up onto the top of the sand was always going to be the hard part.
Watching Lizzy underneath that RV kicked my claustrophobia into high gear. She is one tough gal!
who the heck brings a huge bus in the sand? i hope the owners learn from this, and Matt and crew deserve a lot of credit getting this behemoth out
someone who can afford the $425K price tag, that is who.
I prefer to pack light when I travel. This guy packed up his house and junk shed. Even if i were RV full timing, that's just comically big for any destination remotely resembling the outdoors. I'd just stick to the pavement if I were him. I guess to each their own.
Many of these people imo are intoxicated or up in age and some are just lacking common sense and some are just overly ambitious.
I was watching bikes and beards yesterday and one of Matt's videos was playing on a TV in the background.
