  • I just got told a few days back by a professor that my lack of social skills makes me unfit for academia. If I cannot talk my way into things then I should consider desk jobs but you offered me here a juxtaposition. You are younger than me but I have always considered you to be an idol of mine and it was so nice to hear that you are shy at school too. I am so happy that you exist.

I know grad school seems like a lot (I felt you on the part where you're like "i know i studied everything and I know the material but I don't know anything"...like girl, my professor said the same thing to us when he was talking about whenever he was in school and getting his degree) but you've got this.
