John Bernthal has ruined Frank Castle for any other actor. Nobody will EVER be able to play that role without suffering in comparison.
@thomascollette63222 жыл бұрын
In my humble opinion, Ray Stevenson is the closest we've gotten to a comics-accurate Frank Castle (Even though WarZone is an embarrassment of a movie in and of itself). Bernthal lacks the methodical, calculating and absolute cold-bloodedness of Frank Castle in the comics, maybe an earlier incarnation, a more inexperienced and less jaded and cynical version of Frank. Bernthal has simply had more time than others to flesh out his version of the character, and he's perfect for Netflix's characterization of Frank, which doesn't mean he's The Punisher as the comics make him. Bernthal's interpretation is too prone to screaming, anger outbursts, and is too pious and sanctimonious in certain times, while comics Punisher is calculating, systematic, ruthless and most of all: unforgiving. He'd bite through his own arm if it helped him put a bullet inside Fisk's head, and is not at all opposed to hit/kill women if they fit the definition of what he considers "deserving of the treatment". Ffs, Castle has declared war on many heroes just for the fact they colaborated or let certain villains escape at some point.

@LibtardsStillCant SilenceMe18 I have to agree with you. In the show, Homelander is probably physically stronger than Noir. That said, Noir's combat skills make him absolutely lethal. And you are right about Naqeeb too. He was never designed be a threat to Vought or its heroes. He was a necessary tool, means to and end. I am still kinda salty about how Maeve put Noir into a coma by forcing some fucking nuts down his throat though. That shit pissed me off. He is supposed to be the stealthy ninja. And Maeve just sneaked up behind him like its nothing.

I remember being surprised at the violence of that elevator scene in Drive. It’s one of those movies that doesn’t desensitize you to the protagonist killing like John Wick. Whenever something violent happens it’s very sudden and brutal. I do think he cut the clip just a few seconds short though. After the elevator doors close there’s a close shot of the scorpion on the back of his jacket and the way it moves as he breathes heavily has a kind of symbolic significance IMO. Nature of the scorpion in the parable and all.

@xbox 123 F that. He and an army of men like him need to go to the District of Criminals.
I like him but he mumbles. His threats are more fun if he enunciated more. The gravel is great but half of the time I need subtitles.
John bermthal is the greatest frank castle and has the skills to back it up.. the dudes a legend.. the best version of the punisher and the best adaptation of a marvel character in it's truest form.. he killa it..
He is really not that good. Grunt-man maybe
It's always nice to see actors like Vince Vaughn who's usually known for comedy movies to branch out and do intimidating roles. Really liked him in Hacksaw Ridge as well. Despite what people say about Mark Wahlberg, I really love that he can go back and forth between being super intimidating to just goofy between roles or both depending on the movie like The Other Guys.
His anger is what’s funny though am I right. Lol.
I think Ryan Gosling is another one of those actors, very funny but he can be really intimidating on screen as well.
He's great in Brawl in Cell Block 99.
The dude is a peacock. He can really fly.
Hans was left with no option, but to wear a dew rag for the rest of his days on Nantucket.
The fact that Naqeeb was able to injure Black Noir, is a big feat in itself. Black Noir is the strongest in the Boys universe. So, yeah, pretty impressive.
Their strength in the Boys and Invincible is massively lower than the comic counterparts though
@LibtardsStillCant SilenceMe18 She sure does. She is scared shitless of Homelander. I don't think she stands much of a chance even against Stormfront in a one V one situation.
@@TheShamRulz I mean, a kid off the streets could 1v1 Stormfront now... ;)
@@TheShamRulz Your problem isn't that someone snuck up on Noir. Your problem is that it was a female character.
I love your vids man. Don’t stop making them because we all love them
Ayyeee, glad to see your back, my guy✨😌🤙🏾
welcome back benjy and congrats on your internship! hope you upload more as these are the only compilation videos that actually do the movies justice
Welcome Back, Benjy! Great and classic picks in this one. Love Drive and the entire journey it takes us on. Congrats on finding a job and for the new found creative wave. Hope you have a fantastic 2021 my friend!
"Look me in the eyes. I wanna watch the lights go out." That's gotta be the calmest yet most badass thing you could tell someone before offing them. Who could've thought Vince Vaughn was capable of being that intimidating?
Ever seen Clay Pigeons?
@@birch5757 Brawl In Cell Block 99
what movie is that from??
Eh...it's the actor/actress not the act. Stormfront said the same thing in The Boys without nearly the skill. Always remember it's the actor/actress.
Thanks so much for the upload, Benjy! Great to have you back, bro. Stay safe and healthy. Peace! ✌️✌️
So glad to see the compilations back! Keep it up!
"More like chewed out, I've been chewed out before" XD How I feel at work anymore.
the man is back !! so happy to hear things are working out for you with your career and your social life brother keep that chin up 👑
As cool as Drive is, the elevator scene still hurts to watch. The way he kisses her is like he’s saying goodbye or something. Anyway great vid as always, and glad your back man.
i wanna be driver
So glad to see you back, I missed your videos
That last clip is definitely the most savage ending in movie history
Why did they shoot the other guy? I haven't watched the movie but I'm curious
The elevator scene from Drive is my favorite!
Hey Benjy! Got the notice during the day, but waited until the evening to watch. Big fan of Benjy after dark. :) Love you brother. Another fantastic video. You are the best!

Awesome your back...great stuff!!
Just found your channel. You rock. Love the work.
F*CK YEAH! I missed your uploads dude!
The ending of inglorious bastards is Amazing, I love how we get to only see the outcome of the natzi symbol being put on but in the end we get to see the gruesomeness of it
Live these bad ass collections! Great job!
Welcome back, king, this was a pleasant surprise.
Good to see you back Benjy!
IDK... I still think the fight between James Gandolfini and Patricia Arquette in True Romance was gut wrenching savagery at it's best!
So glad you are back!
Brad Pitt was absolutely perfect for the role he played in inglorious bastards Looked ole boy dead in the face and said I've been chewed out before after shooting a war prisoner
I operated a huge baler for a recycle facility for many years. It wasn’t quite the size as a car crusher but it would make bales of paper almost 4,000 pounds. It always scared the shit out of me when I had to climb in the bale chamber and clean it out. Just thinking about the machine turning on and crushing me into a pancake like that.
Hey man, great video as always. It's been a while since you last posted, hope everything is going good with you in life. Lots of love. Cheers! Welcome back :)
7:15 this scene was so soothing and calming. Almost like a dream.
LOL I always love HitGirls line: "What a douche."
Love these videos 😩
I remember being surprised at the violence of that elevator scene in Drive. It’s one of those movies that doesn’t desensitize you to the protagonist killing like John Wick. Whenever something violent happens it’s very sudden and brutal. I do think he cut the clip just a few seconds short though. After the elevator doors close there’s a close shot of the scorpion on the back of his jacket and the way it moves as he breathes heavily has a kind of symbolic significance IMO. Nature of the scorpion in the parable and all.
I subscribed. You deserve it my guy.
missed these dude great work
WELCOME BACKK BIG BROOOOOOOOO, HOPEFULLY THINGS GOING WELL🙏🙏🙏
It’s been a while!!! Good to see you back bro!
The return of the king

Welcome back bro!!
BENJY! Great to see you back! w00t!
Inglorious Basterds is truly one of the greatest films ever made.
I like the cinitography that you incorporated from scene to scene
The legend has returned!
Excellent jobbies, Benjy ❤
I just finished inglorious basterds last night and thought of this channel when watching that exact scene
Great minds think alike ;)
@@Benjy1 kinda cute no homo
The fact that you leave the titles in the comments. You've been the plug for all my nightly movies lately🔥💯💯💯
14:55 This is actually a really nice transition, nice job buddy
You're babayaga of movie compilations, I waited for you to lose quality but you never did. Perfection.
welcome back
Vince Vaughan is the next to have a serious role, he needs his spotlight! He absolutely deserves it, one of those nice guys you wouldn't want to see angry, actually angry
Yeeeeeessss benjjjyyyyyy welcome back man!
Yeehah,n thanks. Couple of scenes in Savages not bad, either. Keep up the good work.
Love this , one scene I always wince at is end of casino , would be perfect for this 🙏🏽❤️
Man that Basterds ending is gritty

Drive is an another underrated masterpiece.
Misssseeedddd you!!! ❤️

Ok… why doesn’t Vince Vaughn have more roles like this. Totally believable and AWESOME
FINALLY! P.S. Post when ever you can benjy. Your time spent on your studies and family/friends is more imporatnt..just don't forget us.😅👍🏼
These are awesome because seeing some actors do scenes ove never seen before and showing range on different actors 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Loved it. Begging for more lol
Needed this
My Gosh, these look sicker when you bunch them up!!!
The Punisher is such a good show
i think the first one was the most brutal… still gives me chills. the sound of slow cracking bones…
I know it’s not historically accurate but inglorious bastards is one of the most satisfying movies ever a close second being Django.
I mean it is supposed to be alternate-history, and I've gotta say, it is by far my favorite alternate-history movie so far.
@@thewolfgirlexpert Agreed
He’s back!!!
