I did not realize how rare was Tango+Cleo interactions I saw until today. So glad this series pushes Hermits and rest of the crew to meet with each other

@@BrananPR Yeah, I do watch those VODs, their interactions are often golden, however this is almost never hanging out like some other hermits do, or Tango does often with Impulse, Skizz or Etho. To be fair, Tango has so much to do dor Decked Out, there was not much time, but I think that is yet another reason why it is so great to see him in this series

As someone who’s been a pretty big Star Wars fan for 17 years, I assure you, if someone asked me about Ashoka’s backstory and timeline questions, I would respond similarly to Scar. 😅 And he was great, by the way, assumed Tango only had basic knowledge and tried to answer in a way that would make sense to someone who was less familiar with the topic.

So much cool/interesting stuff to talk about: cool planets and world building, galactic politics, the Jedi, the Sith, bounty hunters, Anakin’s story arc, Palpatine’s plot, prophecy, cool new characters, The Force, the 501st (and other clones too), how the Clone Wars ties into the prequels and original trilogy…The Clone Wars has it all.

Task suggestion: place a button near Grian. If he doesn't press it within a full minute, you succeed. If he does, or if he leaves before the minute is up, try again later in the session. The button can be placed somewhere inconspicuous, but it cannot be completely hidden (no burying the button).

@@Taurielfae7769Seems hard to check if the other person noticed. Also, you can just "cheat" by adding one dirt block on one of the mounds and then sprint to the secret keeper.
I had this same idea, except with convincing Pearl to move the base without her realising it's for a task.
I feel like the tasks like that about bases, and the ones we saw about bases this session only work on day 1. After session 1, people have more plans, are more established, gotten their bearings and that will make tasks like that not work out and be super time consuming. Smaller variations on that would work though! Like the first reply, thats a great idea adding to their base without being noticed could be easy enough if luck isn’t working out, and you could do something a bit more complex and sneaky if you know you can manage.
Task suggestion: Protect Jimmy, Martyn, Joel, or Scar from any damage for 5 minutes. Time starts when you say "Muffin" to them.
5 minutes might be a bit too easy- they’re accident prone, but not THAT accident prone. But maybe a hard task could be protecting one of them from any damage for the rest of the session after you get the task?
That is easy. try Joel or Martyn this session! Jimmy and Scar simply don't notice surroundings, make mistakes, and have general bad luck. Joel and Martyn, on the other had, play recklessly and put themselves in danger at every chance they get.

That would have to be a hard task. While you can do that on hermitcraft, the life series is a lot more competitive and people are less likely to give up strategic resources. Tricking them will also almost certainly result in revenge.

It's not a rule, but it's a good idea. Keeps things fresh! I think BDubs and Etho are kind of doing the same thing. Trying to team with others so there's fun new dynamics. I'd love to see a Tango/Scar or a Skizz/Grian. Something really different.

Tango, I know people stress about how to edit these videos, lemme reduce your stress and tell you, even if it's more than an 1hr, I will still watch it. These keep me sane from work. 😅 And honestly I think most of us prefer to see the raw footage than the cut down one.

The “secret” aspect of this season is such a good idea. Even though it does you no good to know what another hermits secret is, it still entices you. And on the content side of things, it entices the viewer who will then go and watch another hermits video they may not normally watch because they wanna know what their secret is. I’ve already watched 5 of these from different hermits when I normally only watch Tango and Ethos perspectives😅
Previously I didn't watch Bdubs, Big B and Martyn (which still leaves 11/14) but now I'm watching all 17 perspectives because of all the secrets!
I usually only watch Grian, but ive been going around to all the other life member’s channels to see how they completed their tasks and it’s a lot of fun! I’m glad this series encourages the viewers to branch out

I think bigB best fills the Alex Horne roll. The deadpan delivery and the way he goes along with anything without explanation, but also explains nothing himself.

i was wondering why no hermits were uploading its been weeks .... just the first episode i i can tell this is going to be one of the top 3 seasons the interesting thing about this season is that it encorages veiwers to watch multiple prespectives or you wont know what their tasks are , it can lead to some tensions between pairing because usually pairs share everything but now they are forced to keep a secret and MUMBO IS BACK!!!!

Secret Task suggestion: Dance Party. Get at least, say, 2 other people to dance with you for the entire length of a music disk. Hard mode could specify WHAT music disk it is - hope you have the specific one it wants! (Not as far as restricted ones like Relic, but as far as forcing you to go out at night blowing up skeletons with creepers and hoping.)
This was an amazing episode Tango, I know you say you’re not one of the drama kids of the series, but your sense of humor and timing seriously makes this series such a fun experience. Main POV five seasons strong baby 💪

Secret life let’s gooo! With the amount of people this season we’ll probably have a similar kind of disconnected chaos as we did in last life. Also the Scott, gem, and impulse team up on top of the mountain is way too op lol

idk if anyone else has suggested this yet but we think a fun harder task would be that the person has to make someone else fail their own task. it'd be a nice little way to still have a saboteur in the mist of the series even if its only for one episode

Ya'll should put a box called "donations" into the area with the secret keeper,so you dont jut throw all of that stuff on the floor and people could actually use that
Suggestion: Give any item to another player and then receive that same item back after 10 minutes, without them noticing you gave it to them.
Task Suggestion 1: Alter a Player’s base layout(moving around door, window, or furniture placement, etc.) in some subtle but noticeable way without them figuring out it was you. Essentially just make them gaslight themselves about the layout of their base lol Task Suggestion 2: Organize a player’s supply inventory at their base without being caught; if it’s already organized, disorganize it.
Task 2 is a good one for Pearl, didn't she make that her role at one point in HC?

Task Suggestion: Convince a player that they can’t perform a water bucket clutch from a 25 block tower. Task is complete when they actually try to perform the water bucket clutch. (Successful clutch not needed) Creates some risk in losing hearts this way.

Hard: successfully guess the secret task of another player Don’t hurt any animals for [Arbitrary amount of time]. Don’t directly attack any mobs for [Arbitrary amount of time]. Have a vegetarian diet for [Arbitrary amount of time] Don’t eat any vegetables for [Arbitrary amount of time] Cause another player to fail their task. Help another player complete their task. Hard: Betray someone Hard: Destroy a valuable item in lava while another player watches Convince at least two other players you have successfully completed your task. Mine exactly one log from 64 different trees Slip a grey stained glass pane into another player’s inventory, and have them not notice for [Arbitrary amount of time] Hard: surprise someone a Minecraft feature/mechanic they didn't know about, or forgot about. Steal the front door from 5 different bases. Create a secret identity for yourself and use it for [Arbitrary amount of time]. Convince Grian to press a suspicious button. Keep a hostile mob as a pet for 1 Minecraft day.
Task Suggestion: “convince another player to give you a heart” probably for a hard one.

I think a cool task would be to make a minimum of three Hermitcraft references to a hermit (that would know what they are talking about, of course.) Like concorp, the jangler, Boatem, the button, etc. without them noticing. They would have to reference three without the hermit mentioning that it was in Hermitcraft.
Except there's non Hermits in this series. (Skizz, Joel, Scott, etc . . .)

Yay, new season! I'm trying to pace myself and watch all perspectives, and it makes so many things make so much more sense now. This is going to be so much fun! Though there doesn't appear to be a Cleo/Tango/Skizz combo this time, a Bdubs/Tango/Skizz and possibly Scar team up is certainly an interesting mix of the formula. It's very easy to fall into familiar patterns, but the efforts put into trying to shake it up don't go unnoticed and are very much appreciated.
This is going to be a great season! The tasks are hilarious, and the player list is so many great people!
I loved it! i also feel like you were more comfortable in going for these funny situations and leaning into how the whole storyline created itself. seeing this after listening to the imp&skizz podcast especially the episodes with you made all of this so much better.

task suggestion: disappear mid conversation with someone without them figuring out where you went (essentially doing what batman does to commissioner Gordon)
#Task suggestion: Convince Grian that you have revealed your secret task to him, then refuse to accept you have failed until he marches you over to the secret keeper to press the failed button. When you get there with him, you can hit the success button instead.
