  • Little pro tip for anyone who wants a reliable compact window breaker. Those little nail setters work great. One tap is all it takes to pop non laminated glass. Obviously laminated you're gonna need a glass saw or a big heavy blade. I have firsthand experience popping side vehicle windows with them👍

    @ZippoVarga@ZippoVarga2 жыл бұрын
    • One thing to remember is to recalibrate your phone regularly if the level or measurements are important. The gyro can get out of zero pretty easily as it’s tossed about all day. And then with a couple of decent sized microSD it's also my external storage and offline backup. It is actually obscene how much functionality is packed into a stack of 3-4 credit cards. *Not sponsored by Kablekard, just a huge fan.

  • A friend who's an EMT got something quite similar to that bracelet. It has a tungsten "pendant" like yours, it's a little bigger and its circumference is shaped like a wedge not a hobbed gear. The "edge" is flattened, but he says so are the points of many of those plastic emegency glass hammers, and they're it's still pointy _enough_ to do the job, just less accident prone. He tested it in the breaker yard and it worked 1st try, but in the field they have better tools. He still wears it daily though now that he knows it works quite well.

  • This is how great Big I Design is. I backed them a few times on Kickstarter. At one time, I backed so many campaigns, I lost track of what I received and didn’t. A year later I’m going through all these past campaigns and I realize I didn’t get one of their pens I backed. Thinking I’m out $50, or whatever it was, I still emailed them and explained. I wasn’t expecting anything due to the time frame and fact that I’m just now realizing this. But nope, they sent me the pen. No questions asked. They already had a customer for life due to their products and KS experiences alone. Couple that with what they did for me, well, I can’t do much more than praise them and support them when I can. And that’s what I do. Great company and people.

  • For what it is worth, the quarter is an actual U.S. minted quarter which has been machined. These coins have existed in the magic community for sometime, probably approaching a century. It takes two quarters to make the product shown. One is "hollowed out" to make what is termed a "shell" and then the other is cut down to fit into the shell and recessed in order to hold something inside. That is referred to as the "insert". The ring is commonly called a "bang ring" for obvious reasons. There are many magic effects which rely on this exact or similar machining. Some of it can get really specialized and even involve rare earth magnets, etc. It is a field unto itself. And yes, the same type of coin has been used in the espionage business. Back when silver dollars were still in circulation you could squeeze something quite large inside.

  • The hollow quarter might be interesting in combination with one of those keychains that hold your Aldi quarter. Not sure what you'd put inside, you might be able to file some of the plastic off the back of a Micro SD card - remove the little nail notch tab and maybe it'd fit. You could also probably use it for your cart at Aldi, since you get it back.

    @RobotMonkeytron@RobotMonkeytron2 жыл бұрын
    • Why would you need a keychain to carry a quarter? Just put it in your pocket. The big set of keys is way more difficult to handle.

      @bloodleader5@bloodleader52 жыл бұрын
    • @@bloodleader5 If you're familiar with Aldi, they have a thing where you have to insert a quarter to get a cart, and you get it back when you return it, so they don't have to pay someone to retrieve carts. They sell the keychains so you don't spend the quarter, and always have one when you get there. It's just a novelty item, but could help you keep the fake quarter separate from your change.

  • 07:15 The pocket axe looks like it would be good for skinning animals. Skinning can be a bitch and a half without a dedicated blade and dedicated honing stones.

  • Hey man I’ve been watching your videos for about 3 months now. I’m into fitness and overall health, but that being said, you’re looking great! You look very healthy and as a barber’s point of view the beard looks great. 👍🏽 thanks for this amazing content and information as well.

  • Oscar Delta sells the tungsten beads. It will definitely bust a car window. The side windows are not laminated just safety glass so they shatter easily

  • I almost want the window breaker as a hair-tie. But it would probably suck to take off.

  • Hi, first the charger is great and having solved all mobile assesory in safe package like that is worth every cent they ask for... but i am writing mainly becouse of the measuring coin.... The one you are showing is tobheavy and large, but this thing is older than your nation and originally it is a map distance measuring tool. Usually its on a small stick for better usage... One of the oldest trick i learned was to make this from cola bottle cap... flatten it and measure it...... surprise.....

  • Put pinky and ring finger through the string on the tiny Axe. Then hold the very bottom with thumb and finger. This will multiply the swinging/chopping power, even on that little thing. Works well for using a knife to chop wood.

  • Taylor, it might not be in your business plan but a BDEDC shop (actual brick and mortar) would be pretty rad to visit. You could set it up where you pay one guy really well to be really well informed. He would be informally known as the Wizard (you maybe? Idk) and the shop would look (resemble) like the antique shop from Gremlins. Maybe tucked away in some remote nondescript mountain hamlet and only subscribers/followers could get the location. Word of mouth thereafter.
